I'm so grumpy today! I don't know if it's because I haven't worked out in two days or that my husband's been home sick for the past few days or what.

I'm worried because it's been over a week and my sore throat isn't getting any better AT ALL. I did go to the doctor on Tuesday and the test came back yesterday and tested negative for strep. But this doesn't feel right. The only thing that relives the pain is to take ibuprofen twice a day. I'm bloated, have a giant zit and killer cramps. Yah, it's that time. Fortunately I have today off from work, gonna go to the gym, then to the library, then run errands and do laundry.
Breakfast: veggie omelet
Lunch: spaghetti squash, asparagus, bbq chicken breast
Dinner: ??
Exercise: some mix of treadmill, bike, elliptical...gonna work upper body and abs.
And I really want to buy this CD:

Looks like a good CD.
I"m a little bit of a grump too.
Those are the eggplant roll ups that Jen and I have been talking about. I really like them. It's a good, easy way to get in veggies.
Breakfast: Egg beaters, tomatoes, spinach - coffee
Lunch: 2 links chicken sausage, spinach
Snack: Balance Bar - Apple
Dinner: Roast beef and cheese sandwhich on whole wheat and nacho chips/salsa
Ran 3 miles on the treadmill this morning, I find on Fridays I have to my workout before work or else it does not happen, I am too tired by Friday afternoon to workout.
I'm a little tired today... more tired than usual. If I'm not around, I've probably decided to get some much-needed sleep.
Breakfast - spinach omelet
A.M. Snack - Oatmeal
Lunch - Chicken, Asparagus
P.M. Snack - I'm going to juice an avocado and 2 lemons
Dinner - Maybe a little pasta and a salad
I'm still keeping fresh veggies and fruit around the house for easy access.
I would say that you are in a grumpy mood with a sick hubby, not being able to workout, and being off your schedule. You are used to having that time to yourself and now it is taken away. It will get better...hang in there, Jean.
How is that mashed cauliflower? Do you use frozen or fresh? I should try it so I can get more veggies in and think I am eating mashed potatoes.
I did get out and take the 9:30 step class at Bally's and I am so glad I pushed myself to do it even though it is so cold here. Of course, I knew the instructor and it was fun taking her class. We used to work in Powerhouse Gym together and I too her classes there too. It is a good thing it is called Advanced step...she is a dancer and even does ball room dancing contests. It was fun but my feet still give out the last 15 minutes of an hour class which makes my knees bother me since I am not as light on my feet as I should be. The Fit n Easy class I subbed at World Gym afterwards went well and the members want me to teach the class all the time. I said sorry, I am just the sub...they liked the intensity I did and challenged them just enough to progress (of course I gave options).
Food...decaf tea with soy milk and a handfull of grapes before class. (2 pts)
Brunch-same a yesterday because it was so good with that bread...2 slices whole grain bread 2pt, egg substitute 1pt, 1 slice veggie cheese 1pt, tomatoes, tea with soy milk.
Snack-popcorn and fruit I took plain popcorn and put it in a microwave dish with a cover and popped it in the microwave so I have control of the sodium.
Dinner...lentil soup, salad, and leftovers.
That is my day so far...DD's fiance is sleeping so I won't be accomplishing much again today.
