hi everyone! i came back from Connecticut early to avoid the snowstorm (mostly) on saturday. it wasn't bad here in dc (at least over on the Maryland side), we didn't get snowed in or anything. but i still haven't worked out since last Wednesday.
it's really cold here and my toes are freezing. not as cold as it was in CT though - that was just crazy cold. i'm glad i don't live there anymore. i'm trying to convince my dad to retire and move somewhere warm so i can visit him there instead. preferably ft. lauderdale so i can take cheap and easy flights on jetblue. yes, it's all about
We got a TON of snow. Blech! I made it to the gym both days. Even Friday!.
I have changed things up. I was running 10 mins on a 40 min walk/run on a hill program than some other form of cardio and abs. This weekend I changed to doing 25 mins on my program and 6 mins of running, than 10 misn of the bike, than back to the treadmill. Abs and some free weights.
Breakfast - Oatmeal, muffin bar, carrots, applesauce
Got up at 11 am today. I STILL have a sore throat, I've been to the doctor twice, and both times they said it's a virus, and have to wait it out. To top that off, I also have Aunt Flo and a nasty headache. I've decimated the ibuprofen supply in this house, so I have to head out and get more even though I feel like curling up in a ball on bed.
Woke up this morning to a sinus headache - ugh! Took some Tylenol Sinus after breakfast and my headache went away, but I'm feeling the slightly dizzy side effects I get after taking that medicine. I guess it's better than the headache.
Monday's my day off from working out.
Breakfast: Oatmeal, applesauce, 1/2 apple cut up, protein powder.
Lunch: Salmon patty, applesauce, side salad.
Dinner: Either left over chicken with vegges, or chicken lasagne.

Two hour delay in school today because of 3" of snow on Saturday!

Dinner: sukiyaki (sliced beef, tofu, napa cabbage, shirataki)
