Isn't it funny how different instructors can take the exact same routine but one class is so much harder than another?

Jean,

I'd say they're probably worried that they'd be too turned on in class to concentrate so they don't come.

oh, one more thing i agree with - being more judgmental about people's charitable contributions because they are wealthy. statistically, most of the charity in this country comes from the wealthy. You can criticize them and say they should give even more, but they could probably turn around and say the same about us. how are they different from someone like Jean, who consciously chooses not to make as much money as she could. if you criticize someone who makes $250,000 for "only" giving $10,000 to charity because they choose to spend the rest on their house, family, etc., how is that decision any different from Jean choosing to stay at home and not make any money because she chooses to spend time with her family, etc. when she COULD choose to get a job that pays 6 figures and give

I brought a guy friend once to Jazzercise. He was super-fit, ran 20+ miles for fun. I made a comment to him after class about how he seemed to get a good sweat, it must be a decent workout.

But, I was never criticizing what she was giving or how much. No one was criticizing what the rich gave or didn't give.

I totally agree about doing things to make the workout HARDER.

LOL! Funny you should say that. I have a fair number of guys that do my classes but they all come w/ their SOs. The single ones only seem interested in taking my yoga classes or hiring me as a P.T.

Seriously though I think they figure I'm too small & 'nice-girl' looking to give them a tough workout. Boy are they mistaken! I'm probably the most sado-masochistic, 'rhymes w/ witch' of a fitness pro they're liable to encounter. >>>teehee<<<

Yes Jean, I understand that the fact of how she responded turned you off...it wasn't necessarily because she didn't give you a donation right away.
