i haven't seen any of this year's nominees. of the movies listed, Schindler's List was my favorite, but some of them i saw so long ago that i don't remember them. i can't believe schindler's list came out in 93! i just saw it a couple of months ago. i also really loved Shakespeare in Love. Joseph Fiennes was so hot in that movie. I should check to see what other movies he's ever been in.

my favorite movie right now is probably Pieces of April, but it changes pretty often. my most longstanding favorite is "legally blonde" both I and II. Also, one of my favorites is "it's a wonderful life." But having a favorite movie is different from "what's the best movie you've ever seen" - i have to say that Hotel Rwanda was one of the best movies i have ever seen, but i wouldn't say "hotel rwanda is my favorite movie". Same thing for Monster's Ball. There are just different requirements for being a favorite movie.

I definitely will see pretty much anything with Hilary Swank or Lili Taylor. They are two of my favorite actors. I always really liked Don Cheadle, and after seeing Hotel Rwanda, he is now one of my favorite actors. Also Natalie Portman, Joaquin Phoenix,

Is Hotel Rwanda about the holocaust that happened there?

I walked into a toy consignment store once and asked if they took "adult" games. The woman gave me a startled look until she saw I had Trivial Pursuit and games like that.

1. None of the above! I mostly borrow DVDs from the library to get my movie fixes and none of those are out on DVD yet.

2/3. I've only seen a handful of these- Lord of the Rings or Gladiator were probably my favorites. I like epic movies.

4. My 2 favorite movies are Rushmore and Lost in Translation.

5. I would be more likely to see movies by particular directors than starring particular actors. Wes Anderson is my favorite director.
