It is FREEZING here and I am sore all over from yesterday - upper body from shovelling and lower body from boot camp, but I am getting ready to go to the gym now anyways. Tried to get an appointment for a massage tomorrow but my favourite therapist doesn't work Fridays anymore. Tonight is my hell night at the music school 5 hours, no break. I survive on a Luna bar and coffee.
Breakfast: bagel, cream cheese, spinach, smoked salmon Lunch: possibly something bad, KFC popcorn chicken and spinach salad Dinner: daikon (ahem ROOT VEGETABLE) and carrot soup Snack: Luna bar
i was going to complain how freezing cold it is here, but i have a feeling it's balmy compared to random's version of freezing, so i guess i'll have to get over it.
the staff meeting went well last night, no poop hitting the fan. i was pleasantly surprised. we are probably getting spinning at the Y! i volunteered to get certified to teach it. i do feel bad because another instructor asked me to sub on Friday at 5:45 am and i said no just because i didn't want to wake up that early. i don't think i've ever turned down a request to sub for absolutely no reason (except that i don't want to) before. the way i think of it, for me to get up that early, it's as if she asked me to sub at 2 in the am - it's just not something that is reasonable for me to do.
I wouldn't feel bad about turning down a 5:30am job. I think the instructor must realize it's a tough class to fill. The aerobics director asked if I'd want to teach at 6am regularly, any format,
i'm glad i didn't gain over the holidays, but the fact that i haven't lost any since then is not a good thing. i need to kick some flabby butt and get losing. so far today i've eaten healthy and moderate amounts, i just need to keep that up.
Checking in from Chilly Chicago - but not as chilly as our friends to the North are experiencing! Didn't work out again today because I was up at 2:00am with a miserable sinus headache, so I took something for it. I am still sleep deprived from the night before. I feel like I'm walking around in slow motion.

Lunch: Fake meat crumbles, salsa & black beans (very yummy & a low fat version of chili)
Did shoulders and ran on the indoor track. School all day, 13 hours, no fun. I hate Thursdays. Oh, and to top it off, I am missing a daughter moment tonight. Dd has been doing awesome at gymnastics. She doesn't turn 4 until July, but they are going to have a special ceremony tonight, give her a certificate and move her up to the pre-team (4 and 5 year old) class. I hate that I am going to miss it because I know she is going to be so happy. But I am really excited for her.
Food: kashi golean crunch clementines, soy nuts doritos--I was starving! chicken nuggets, fries (yuck, not worth it, but no other choices in the cafeteria today) luna bar, I think these are making me constipated sorry if tmi sandwich or something before class
