Yep we live in a fusion society!

There was a comic strip where the caption was "XXXXX decided to try out that new Japanese American fusion restaurant."

I am starting to get really tired of all the ruining of pure forms of exercise. Pilates was never designed for that and someone is really going to get hurt. I really have been on my soap box way too much lately. Anyway, I thought I heard it all, but that one takes the cake.

I'm the odd one about this because I don't mind fusion (even in food!) if they're similar but when it's boot camp and pilates???

Oh no, I like it too.... I do think they can take things in a crazy direction, though... Boot Camp Pilates???

I was reading in Self magazine about some of the classes they have in gyms, for partners like fit sutra! What do they not have now?

Hmmm, "fit sutra" sounds like something you should be doing in the privacy of your own home!

I remember reading about someone on the board thinking of taking a strip cardio class, did whoever it was take it?

One of the instructors at my gym thought about having a cardio strip class, and having people sign up to take it, but the owners weren't crazy about the idea.

I read about some of the classes some of you all talk about, and I can't believe our gym doesn't offer much at all.

We have a belly dance class but it's a pay class and it doesn't seem like much of a workout. I've never belonged to a gym that had amazing classes like the gyms in NYC or LA.
