I've got clients today and I've also got to do payroll... ughghghg. :) I'm doing an hour of cardio and splitting it up into 4 increments of 15 minutes on different machines to help prevent boredom.

Breakfast: banana yogurt shake, peanut butter toast

Snack: grapes, granola bar

Lunch: salad, turkey sandwich with roasted red peppers

Snack: hummus and celery

Dinner: lean cheeseburger, broccoli, strawberries and cool whip lite

I am OK right now, but being me lately feels like a ticking time bomb...when is SRT next going to lose it? Thanks for asking :)

I'm giving the GP until Friday or so to write that referral letter and fax it, and then I will give the psychiatrist a call.

Thanks for the suggestion, Grace. I didn't think I'd start everyone running for the kitchen to whip up some pancakes! Anyway, DH was always a Bisquick-guy and he really is the King of Pancakes in our house (he makes them better than me). There's a pancake recipe in my Zone book that I should give a try - it's very similar to Kel's recipe and calls for cottage cheese, too.

DD is feeling better now - she's singing and playing as I type!

For anyone who likes mixes, Krusteaz makes a good low fat, oat bran pancake mix that even my picky kids like.

I'm on the maintenance phase of South Beach, so the carbs I eat are almost always whole grain and I eat at least 9 servings of veggies a day.

You know, Jean, I was craving carbs all day long yesterday! That must have had something to do with my grumpiness! By the end of the day (and 8 cookies later), I was feeling much better!

I suffer from anxiety/depression and my dr suggested I try some natural supplements to control my serotonin levels. I've been putting it off because of money and because I've been doing fine, but I think I'll order the supplements today.
