Snobby weightlifting....

I realized this week that I am a weights snob. Let me explain... I'm working out with a trainer once a week (my friend at work - we train each other). She's been working out with another trainer (not from our gym) who trains people in her home. She doesn't have weight machines or free weights and their workouts consist of using spri bands, bosu, core boards, etc. My friend then brings those workouts to me. Recently, my training has been light on free weights and heavy on spri bands and other assorted gym toys.
Man, do I whine during her workouts. :) Those spri bands fatigue me pretty thoroughly but for some reason, I find it harder to push through for that last rep than I do with free weights. I'm wondering if it's a boredom issue since we do lots of reps with bands and when I lift weights, I stick between 8 and 12 reps. It's really strange. I'm acknowledging the fact that I'm a free weight snob.
Any other snobs out there?

i'm a step snob too.
i think the reason it's harder to push through the last rep is the type of resistance you get from the band vs. the weight. maybe because you can't use momentum as much or whatever. i think it IS physically hard to push through the last rep.
