Hello all,
Hopefully I will be back on a semi-regular basis. I've decided to FINALLY get my butt in as close to shape as I was in college. I'm going to make time for it this semester and have been doing pretty well. My best friend is getting married in October, and I'm the MOH, so we're going to be buying/getting fitted for dresses soon (she already bought hers but will have the first fitting in March). So she asked me to be her personal trainer, since she has never moved an inch in her life, and I used to be a dancer :) Plus, bikini season is coming and I have a boyfriend who 1.) loves the beach and 2.) has a RIDICULOUS body- he used to do triathalons, and was aiming for the Olympics til he busted a knee. He seriously makes me feel fat- more on that later.
For those who don't know me- I'm a grad student in DC. My undergrad is in Musical Theatre and I used to be a dancer, so I was in amazing shape back then. I took a year off between my BFA and working on my MA (in Lit), and was doing taekwondo, which helped keep me in some shape, but I've lost a lot of my shape. When I moved here, there was no place to do tkd that I liked and could afford :( Last semester just swamped me and I never went to the gym, which is why I've been MIA for awhile. Anyway, I hope to be back on as much as I can, just checking in, cuz I think it will help me stay on track.
