Does anyone else want to join Kel, Jen, and I in running?

Can I run on a treadmill? It's easier for me to get time to do it at the gym on campus. Plus, my area is one big hill, and since I'm not a runner, I feel like that would kill me. Don't know if I'll be able to get to the point where I can run a 5K, but I want to add running into my regimen, since it's the best way to burn calories and fat, cardio-wise. I only ran once this past week, but ran twice the week before. Hopefully, it won't bother my knees or anything- if it does, I will certainly stop.

My boyfriend actually used to train for triathalons- he was #3 in the country under age 20, state champ, regional champ- in college, he was training for the Olympic tryouts, but he busted a knee :(

how about april 16th, because that's a saturday and more people will be able to run that day. also some procrastinators might be running around trying to get their taxes in on the 15th.

I'm planning on using a treadmill, too.

I would love to, but I'm taking a workout sabbatical from Friday, Feb. 11 - mid March sometime.

I'll let you guys know what it feels like to NOT be a gym rat. Agony, I'm sure. Hopefully you'll do this again and I can participate then.

Happy Tuesday!

Why are you doing a workout sabbatical? If it's too personal, don't feel like you have to share.

I wish I could join you but I would either be picking my insides up off the treadmill or cripple my feet. Actually I thought about running on the treadmill...I am wondering if it would be easier on my feet than actually pushing through the walking. I can do classes, but have trouble walking. Hmmm......
