Good morning! What a great morning already--my husband is going into work late today and he got the kids off to school so I could sleep in.

Oh, I was so busy chatting on my last post about nothing that I forgot to put down my workout!

Feeling horrible about two things unrelated to working out, so who knows how much motivation I'll have today. Might try to do the treadmill and my pilates DVD.

Breakfast- small bowl of high fiber cereal w/ soymilk

Lunch- yogurt, carrots & hummus

Dinner- that sandwich I was going to have yesterday.

Yeah, it's gotten to the point that it's a personal day where I practice self-indulgence--don't do a party or anything public.

Sorry that you're feeling horrible. :( If you want to vent, we're here for you! A little exercise just might get those endorphins going...

Nothing particularly interesting today, except that I will call my parents tonight to wish them Gung hay fat choy. I haven't been prepared at the grocery store, so I am really short on protein lately. Kel, thank you for putting edamame on your food list, I am going to the Japanese grocery store today, so I'll pick up some there.

Breakfast: bagel, cream cheese, spinach, smoked salmon
Lunch: kamaboko (japanese fish cake), napa cabbage, noodles
Dinner: butternut squash soup, maybe a can of japanese fish if I am dying for protein

Exercise: teaching sculpting in the morning and step in the evening. Trying to do less of the class because I am so sore on Wednesdays that I am often unable to do my own workout then.

speaking of protein, yesterday i ate my ideal proportions of protein/carbs/fat without even trying! dietpower is so fun.

i decided to take the beginner level yoga tonight instead of my regular class, as a compromise to the fact that my belly still hurts from surgery. it will also be nice because it's at a better time, and my friend is in that class, so i'll get to see her. that's all for me today. if all goes well in yoga, i'll get on the elliptical or something tomorrow.

food-

coffee with soy milk, luna bar, orange

lunch- probably veggie burger and soup

dinner- thai noodle soup with extra veggies again, mashed sweet potato with cinnamon and teaspoon of raw sugar.

20 chocolate chips.
