Good morning everyone!

I just got back from the gym. There was a new girl in class who got dizzy and had to stop but plugged her way through class. Then everyone in the class did something I've never seen before, they all went up to her and told her their, "we all were beginners once" story! Today is Chinese New Year - Gung hay fat choy.

pre-gym breakfast: Banana, babybel, soy milk
post-gym breakfast: bagel, cream cheese, spinach, smoked salmon
lunch: greek salad & bbq chicken pizza from Boston Pizza
dinner: treating myself to spinach salad from Montana's

My DH works with a woman from Viet Nam. Yesterday she sent DH home with a dollar bill in a New Year's envelope for each of our kids! I thought that was very sweet. I'll have to ask her the significance of this gift.

Tonight I plan on doing my BodyStep class.

Breakfast: Egg beaters with FF cheese and salsa on top, two Boca sausage links, pineapple.

Lunch: Vege chili

Snack: Applesauce & cottage cheese

Dinner: Tilappi (sp?) filets with a green bean salad.

It can get scary in this market. That's smart to lease back, esp. in this market, you can still get top dollar even when doing that.

i'm leaving for the gym shortly, but i still haven't decided what i'm doing. i think i'm going to try to lift upper body if it feels ok, and also do 30 minutes of cardio (probably elliptical). tonight i'm going to veg in front of the tv. new episodes of Lost and Alias!

food-

one flax waffle with warm strawberries (mixed w/ one teas. raw sugar), coffee

organic orange

tofu and veggie stirfry on brown rice, smoothie

not sure about dinner, maybe take out. i'm thinking black pepper gluten with lots of broccoli - no rice. maybe a luna bar for dessert.

It does figuratively. Gong hay means congratulations.

Hi, all! That was nice of the members to go up to the new girl. Oh, boy, do I remember my first time! I hope she was ok after getting dizzy.

I subbed a body bar class and a Basic Boot camp class today. I did use only the body bar like the description of the class says and did the Basic boot camp with the bar and the step vertically placed again like the description says. Some very good reviews and some negative, but I have come a long way. I am actually focusing on the many positive comments and not the 2 negative ones. I actually got good comments from the picky members I remember from a previous gym. Those comments really meant a lot to me. It was also nice seeing Undone right near me and we were wearing the same color.

Undone and I went for brunch afterwards and had healthy eggwhite omelets with spinach and mushrooms and whole wheat toast. We did pick at the crispy part of the potatoes and left 90% on the plate.

Today is Ash Wednesday and the start of Lent for some of us. I plan to give up chocolate until Easter. I usually give up too much and then I don't stick to it. So..this should be doable. After I decided on this I realized no more sugar free hot cocoa. Well...it is supposed to be a sacrifice....:-). I am planning to be nicer to my family...if I am in a bad mood, I will not let them feel my down mood.

Good eats planned for the rest of the day...baked fish, veggies, salad, brown rice.

Have a good day.
