Hi. I had a baby 4 months ago by emergency c-section. He is my fourth child but first c-section. My abs will never be the same I'm afraid. I have since battled Mastitis 3 times, Bronchitis, and now have an ear infection. Throughout all of this I have exercised almost daily at a light pace (the Firm's 2nd series). I was very active before pregnancy and continued to exercise while pregnant. I would like to get back to my pre-pregnancy fitness level but am not motivated to push myself. Can anyone suggest a couple of home workout videos/dvds? I was looking at Cathe Friedrich but am concerned that they might be too complicated in choreography for me. Also, I am hungry all of the time even though I stopped nursing a month ago. I eat "clean" most of the time but do allow myself a treat with the family on Friday/Saturday. i.e. ice cream/frozen yogurt. I can't seem to control my hunger and am eating my weight in veggies to try to stave it off. Anyone else experience an increased appetite after pregnancy? Thanks for your thoughts.

Sounds like you know what you're doing and you're doing the right things!

also, there's not much she can do about this, but being exhausted makes you hungrier, and makes you overeat. that might be why you are so much hungrier now! though i'm not sure what you can do right now to try to get more sleep, but i bet it would be a good thing all around if you could.

I just cut the calories down to 1350 from 1500-1800 depending on the day. We'll see if that does the trick. I am exhausted! My baby is still up throughout the night and I can't nap during the day. I need to get back to my Yoga practice to relieve some stress but I have to wait until the ear thing clears up. I am totally off balance all of the time. I keep telling everyone that I'm really not drunk at 10:00 a.m. I'm sure things will settle down in the next few months. I hope I can make it that long!!! :)

Those baby days are tough--I can't imagine how much harder it would be with four!
