Doing ok with daily goals, except the one where I won't sit at my desk through lunch.

I got that promotion and am currently trying to do two full time jobs. Can you say overwhelmed? It's all good and I'm very pleased and know it will even out and I'll eventually get a replacement. But, until then each and every day I have to re-set the goal until I accomplish it.

Today, I promise I will NOT SIT AT MY DESK and skip lunch (or worse yet eat while working).

Oh, and a second one for today, I will buy foods for the menu that my daughter and I planned last night and will make a healthy, sit-down dinner!

congrats on your promotion! you are still doing your old job too? yikes! i hope you find a replacement soon.

congrats on your daily goals. i can't think of new goals every day. i just keep trying to meet the same old daily goals each day - drink more water, log everything on diet power, etc.

oh, i have one! but i've already failed at meeting it for today. i'll do it tomorrow instead - i won't pinch at my fat rolls at all for a whole day.

Safe to assume you're not doing much writing these days?

Very little... though I have several great stories and leads waiting for me when I get the time and that spark back. My girlfriend who lost her husband and I talked about my writing her story and she was very interested. The stumbling block is that the majority of her problems stemmed from her MIL and her mistreatment. Writing what that woman did would be vindication for Beate, in that the truth would be known. But, both of us have problems with doing something that we know would hurt another, no matter how horribly that person acted. So, we are still deciding whether it is a good idea or not. I'm now ready to start working with organizations to educate folks on how the loss of a loved one to smoking effects children and families. And the loss of my brother to alcohol abuse has me imagining what I have to say about that problem too. So, the material is there, it is just getting my act together.

How are you doing? Last time I saw you you were so incredibly busy that you made me look like a slug:)
