Thank you ladies for all the great advice.
I think sometimes in this struggle it just seems to much to overcome. I always need to look back and see how much I have changed rather than how much I need to.
I really wish I would have had my body fat % taken when I started this. I have no idea what it was but I am sure it was bad.
My BMI went from a 44.6 to 27.9 at current. Which is a pretty good change.
I went to weigh in, I expressed my concerns to my leader and told her that I am really focused on the scale. She said she understands where I am coming from because of the doctor saying one thing and weight ranges being published. But she gave the same advice you guys have. It's a #.
Regardless I lost 2#s this week. I have GOT to stay off the scale other than weigh in's. I am going to be happy between 150-160 #s. I am going on maint. when I get to that point.
The man called tonight. I got a new sweater, got him a present etc...he said he was going to plan our whole date. This evening he asked if I was packed, I said well yes but I am unsure about what to bring for Saturday night because you won't give me clues as to where we are going. I didn't know about a skirt and heels or if slacks and boots would serve the same purpose. So he proceeds to tell me that he is thinking maybe we will stay in and he will cook for us. A nice gesture I suppose. He wants to make my favorite meal. Chicken fried steak and mac n cheese. I am not sure how I feel about this. To me it seems someone waited until the last minute and forgot to make reservations. I am just going with the flow. Romantic? I doubt it with two teenage kids at home. :::sigh:::::
As far as tonight went. I had the pita. It was decent points wise, and I went down to burger king and had several points left over and ordered a small order of french fries. It satisfied the greasy feeling I wanted. Now I downed a TON of ketchup with them ( I have been craving ketchup something awful these days) and a LARGE diet coke, but it felt nice for a change of pace.
Thank you again for the advice. Jen I am taking your advice and seeing a new doctor. :)
You guys have been wonderful, even when you quote Ann Landers ;)
Sweet dreams
OH! I am attaching some way cheesy pics! I just got my hair all cut off.

Oh Jodi, you are so cute!
*hugs*
Cute hair cut!
Thanks guys.
I am going to make a nice salad too, and try not to eat EVERYTHING in sight! lol.
You have a beautiful face, Jodie! I'm so glad to hear a much more positive tone in your post.
I agree w/ Jean's advice about Sat. Send the kids out if you have to. As for dinner, enjoy it, its a special occasion. However, if this is a serious long term thing gently point out how much you appreciate this gesture of his, making your favourite meal, but then ask if he'll share in the quest for a new fave meal - one that's a little healthier that you feel better about eating. In the meantime have the meal he's made, enjoy sans guilt and rave about it. (Most men need tons of positive reinforcement when they do something like this if you want them to keep doing likeminded things in the future. ;->)
Have a great date.
Good advice. I am sure there is a way we could enjoy this type of dinner having it be healthier.
He has had a heartattack so he needs to start eating better as well. :)
Great idea.
Last time I was there I made an apricot cheesecake, and some great chicken with artichokes, and the ranch mashed taters I posted here. He raved about them, than I told him they were WW recipes. LOL. It's ok he still liked them.
your hair looks great!! i'm glad you are feeling better. sounds like you made good food choices last night, eating healthy, and then satisfying your catsup craving with a small portion of fries.
i hope you have a nice weekend, and that it is romantic. and if it's not, well then that's good to know, right? important info to consider when deciding whether to get back together. so it's a win-win for you either way.
Girl you are cuter than a button,
