Ok ladies, I am sick of eating the same things over and over.
I have 24pts a day on WW. On average every 100 calories is 2pts.
I am trying to think up some new breakfast and dinner ideas.
Normally I have oatmeal, and a granola bar or something along those lines. Yogurt is always a plus since I need the calcium. But do you guys have any other ideas for breakfast food that will hold me over to lunch?
Dinner time, after my workouts I usually nuke something a Lean Cuisine or make up some Egg Beaters, I need something quick but tasty.
What do you think?

I often eat the same foods myself. How about we trade every day foods?
Breakfast: banana, unsweetened soy milk with 1/2 package of Splenda, mini babybel cheese
Lunch: BBQ chicken breast from grocery store with oven roasted veggies
Dinner: I often make soup, which is very quick and easy
Ok good idea!
I like soup too. I am trying to find some good low sodium soups.
I do live near a Whole Foods.
I may take a walk in there.
I had some Egg Whites over the weekend. I went to Waffle House a favorite of mine. LET me tell you it was seriously hard to order an egg white omellette and dry wheat toast in Waffle House. Ugh.
I was thinking of maybe looking for some Eggo waffles, low fat, wheat, and maybe putting someone PB on them.
I eat PB almost every night. Which sometimes I feel a little guilty about because it tastes so good. I use a tbs of it with some 100 cal pack Oreo's as a treat :)
I know what you mean about Waffle House and getting something healthy!
God if you are reading this I really did consider giving up peanut butter for lent. :)
I am going to try some waffles and see what I think. I see that some of you post that you eat them so I am going to give em' a shot.
Waffle House was tragic, I ordered 3 egg whites scrambled (they asked me how I wanted them) I only scramble them. With some onions and mushrooms, dry wheat toast.
My lovely man sat across from me and had a ham and cheese om, with rasin toast with a BOATLOAD of butter on it, bacon and hashbrowns with cheese on them. LORDY.
He had dropped me off at the gym so on the way back I suggested we get some breakfast since I had made it for him the previous day. He agreed and off we go to Waffle House LOL.
In the "bad" old days I would have plowed through all that. Probably gone home and taken a nap, than got up and went for Sonic at lunch time.
So I am making some changes, slow and sure.
Jodi,
Healthy Choice has some great soups - they are low in sodium, too. Whole Foods has a great selection of healthy fast items - check the freezer aisle. Fantastic Foods has a great vegetarian chili and it's easy to make. You just add a can of diced tomatoes and 2 cans of kidney or chili beans (I use chili beans because I'm not a huge fan of kidney). It makes a big pot that you can freeze some for later. PB on anything is good (especially Oreos :o) - how about PB on apples. I love that as a snack. If you keep your house supplied with easy, healthy items, you'll eat them. I have kids and have candy, cookies, pretzels, etc. It's there and sometimes it's hard for me to resist.
Hope this helps - If I can think of anything else, I'll let you know.
Laura
Thanks Laura, I use the oreo thin crisps from Nabisco. 100 calories for the pack. NOT the same thing, but hey they work in a pinch.
I love PB on apples so I need to get some really good apples. Summertime is better for fruit for sure.
LOL that is what I was thinking hmm look at how many calories that is, but in the back of my head I was thinking mmm mmm mmm LOL.
Pass me a fork.
