HI, all! Taught my cardio fit class today and ended up doing 1/2 hour hi/lo and 1/2 hour weights. The class requested that format and it is fine with me. I should have done more working out, but I am up to my eyeballs with shower preparations.
The eggplant parm is done and I am doing turkey sausage and peppers and onions today. I was able to make more room in the freezer so I can get 2 more pans of food in. I am glad to have some of the cooking done. It took so long to do the eggplant yesterday, poor DH ended up with me just slopping dinner in front of him. He was ok with it because I gave him some eggplant too. Whew!
Had a lean cuisine so far today with 2 decaf teas with ff milk. Dinner is going to be a mix of stuff including lots of veggies ( spaghetti squash, broccoli, asparagus and salad ), meat loaf for the family, leftover chicken or fish for me. Of course there is lot of eggplant left too. Oh...I will bake up some sweet potatoes. I don't think my fridge will ever empty out if I keep cooking like this.
You daily menu always looks so good Jean. Doesn't look like you eat that much fat to me. Well..let me know how you change things around and how it goes for you.
Had a great morning so far! Didn't have to do the mad rush out the door getting the kiddies to pre school. It was very relaxing and non-chaotic! I even got a great spot on the floor for BodyStep! This new format is major leg work! Saturday - the first day of the new launch - my legs were a little sore that night. Anyway, it's going to be a relaxing day! Right now I'm on the computer while my littles ones are quietly playing behind me.
Lunch: turkey burger with salsa on top and peaches & applesauce with macadamia nuts.
Snack: protein bar
Dinner: I have to work tonight so I'll put something together to bring with me. Maybe salmon with yogurt & green peppers mixed in, an apple or orange and some peaches.
Please go see you GP if you are having such a hard time. The family GP really helped members of my family who suffer from severe anxiety. IT is chemical with them and the right Rx worked wonders even when the psychiatrist couldn't. Hugs and I hope you do get the help you need. I am sorry you are having such a hard time and you shouldn't have to wait until May for help.
Hey! That's the training program that I've been following! I'm on week 2. Sure, I'll join you on April 16. Are you running on a treadmill or track? The first time I did the Couch to 5K training program, I did it on a treadmill. I'm doing it on the track now and it's much harder. Maybe I'll mix it up and do some sessions on the track and some sessions on the treadmill. The triatholon sounds fun too although I can't imagine putting on a bathing suit.
oh, i bet they have it!!! the people who work there just have no clue. i'll look for it the next time i'm in whole foods and let you know what section it is in.
