jump start challenge on the board here? I could probably do it inbetween all the upcoming events around here. What do you think? How about Monday?

Jean,
I want to try it too, I already made my food shopping list. If you guys post what you are eating on it, it will help me as well.
Monday sounds great.

Here is the link for the Kathy Smith 5 Day Jump Start Program that Jean posted. The challenge is to see if we can stick to the program from Monday thru Friday to start. I know you can keep going on it longer too. I figure, let's take it 5 days at a time.
A lot of the gymrats eat this way already, but maybe this will fine tune the eating a little.
I'm in for Monday...

I would probably have 2 meals and 2 snacks. There is no way I am going to eat 4 meals that big.

<< It is a LOT of food, though! I don't think I could eat 6 oz of chicken AND 6 cups of veggies??? Four times a day? >>>>
My thoughts exactly. If I were to try and stuff 6 cups of veggies into me I'd be constipated for the whole 5 days - LOL.
But I'll to improvise on the challenge.
I will most likely use the plan as a guide as to what to eat at each meal. But, when you don't eat as many carbs, it is easier to eat more protein and veggies. To me they are not as "satisfying" and I find that I "need" something even though I am not hungry.
I know people who have done it and lost weight and couldn't believe it since they were eating so much.
