i would not eat a regular dinner right before kickboxing, unless you want to be tasting it for the whole class (sorry to be gross, but you asked). maybe have a snack before (like just a salad or a little soup) and the rest of your dinner when you get home.
also, be careful of your knees in kickboxing. i don't know how good an instructor yours will be, but kickboxing can be really hard on the knees if not done properly. it might be fine, but don't be afraid to walk out of class if your knees start hurting. if they start hurting, DON'T try to just make it through the class anyway. also, it would be a good idea if you could let the instructor know before class that you have bad knees.
I want to get up and run three miles before work tomorrow, hopefully I can get up. I have been so to get up this week in the morning. For those of you on the running plan, you should try running outside in the morning, it is so nice to get outside when it is quiet and to start the day with a run.
Please don't retire from basketball! Just today my 5 y/o son saw a picture of a man and a woman playing basketball and he asked, "Women can play basketball?" Needless to say, we are going to be watching some WNBA this season.
Meal 2: salad (mixed green, celery, cuke, carrot, green onion, red pepper, pickled asparagus & slivered almonds, sprinkled w/ Mrs. Dash & a little vinaigrette); japanese green tea
Meal 3: rice noodles & stir-fry veggies in a lemongrass-chili sauce; soy chai latte
Supper: Hmm... maybe falafel, hummus & veggies on a ww-flax wrap; V8 w/ a healthy dose of chili sauce
Snacks: fresh fruit; carrots & ww pita w/ roasted red pepper hummus; frozen fruit bar; herbal tea

Jean, it's so sweet that you acknowledge my late day journal postings. I'm a tad earlier today though.
