It's snowing here- only like 5 inches, but since I'm in DC, people down here can't handle that, so everything is going to be a mess. I'm supposed to go to yoga with my best friend tonight, so hopefully they won't cancel it. Otherwise, I'll do my Pilates DVD again (or hopefully, one of my new ones will arrive in the mail), and maybe go on the treadmill downstairs.
Breakfast: Trader Joe's "Essentials" w/ soy milk
Lunch: yogurt, applesauce, crackers
Dinner: chicken and some sort of veggie- I need to grocery shop.
I'm about to leave for the gym to see if I can get into that class, if not I'll do 30 min of cardio (10 on 3 different machines) and lift for chest/back. Then teaching piano tonight.
Breakfast: banana, babybel, soy milk Lunch: leftover meatball soup w/spinach from last night Dinner: maybe takeout chinese, I'm too tired to cook and the fridge is almost empty :P
that's crazy that school is cancelled today! the snow isn't even sticking on the roads.
i'm going to the gym today and will get on the elliptical.
by the way, i've discovered a new weirdness about myself. unlike most people, i put my whole foot on a step when climbing stairs. last time i went to try the stairmill, i still hated it because the stairs are too small to put your whole foot on. everyone else seems to be fine with having their foot hang off. then, i tried to do stairmaster, which i used to do all the time and liked it, but now i hate it because my foot hangs off there too!! i noticed while walking up escalators and stairs that MOST people seem to let their heel hang off, but i never do. i'm weird. i really wish someone would invent a cardio stair machine that you can put your whole on!
not working out tonight because it's T's birthday and we are going out to dinner.
food-
flax waffles with warm peaches and cinnamon sugar, coffee
luna, eggplant "roulette", as jean likes to call it. it's actually "rollette" but i like "roulette" because it makes it sound dangerous!
for dinner i think i'm going to have brown rice sushi and hunan "beef", and jasmine tea
Ugh! I'm supposed to sub tonight and it's snowing hard out there and supposed to continue until 1am. The class is mostly school teachers so if they're going to work out, they probably already have.
Breakfast: Chai Luna bar; hot lemon water; green tea
Meal 2: salad (mixed greens, mixed sprouts, chickpeas; sunflower seeds, red bell pepper, dried cranberries, mandarin orange, green onion drizzled w/ a raspberry vinaigrette); japanese green tea
Snacks: tortilla chips w/ fresh salsa; ww pita or carrots w/ roasted red pepper hummus and since I can't find any decent vegan ww bread for less than $3.30/loaf I'll probably make some bread in which case I'll have a couple slices drizzled w/ herb infused e.v.o.o. instead of the tortillas & salsa
