I am doing step class this morning.

Running update: Did day three of week 3 yesterday. I did my running outside on wednesday and had sore knees the entire day. I consulted with a friend who runs and she said my mistake was running on the sidewalk. They did feel better yesterday but by the end of wednesday, I was ready to hang up the running thing for good.

Breakfast: kashi w/skim milk

Snack: hummus and celery

Lunch: salad and cheeseburger

Snack: detour bar or grapes and granola

Dinner: oven fried chicken and broccoli

I only have one client this morning and we are spending the afternoon doing errands. We're going to purchase countertops and a few other things for the house. We did our home inspection on wednesday and everything is moving right along!

Running errand/domestic goddess Friday for me.

Going to spinning, then getting groceries, then to the bulk store at the mall to get herbs/spices because I'm going to try making my own ranch dip...while I'm there, I'm also gonna look at hair accessories and get my brows waxed.

In the PM, I have to do laundry and scrub the toilets. Then I teach 1 piano lesson. This kid's parents bounced me a cheque last lesson for $17.50, can you imagine? I called them up and told them I will be taking only cash from now on.

Breakfast: spinach omelet, soy milk
Lunch: no idea
Dinner: REALLY UNHEALTHY but oh-so-tasty veggie lasagna

Yoga was cancelled last night cuz of the snow (arg, stupid South). I am going to go to the gym today in between babysitting and class. Tonight is Wes-night, which will entail a large dinner, as usual- I feel bad about trying to eat like a "girl" around him- watching carbs, portion control, because guys HATE when you make a big deal about food and stuff like that. I mean, he knows I don't eat pasta and rice and he doesn't make it for me, but still- I'd feel bad if all of a sudden I stopped having ice cream with him after dinner, or saying "no" to the beer he'll offer me while we're playing pool. I feel like just sitting down with him and being like "Look, this is how I'm going to eat if I want to get back into shape" and hope he deals with it appropriately. Sigh...

Breakfast- eggs, applesauce

Lunch- lunch gets skipped (I know, bad) because I'm on campus- I have a Balance bar- not the greatest, but it's a low carb one at least, so not AS bad ;)

Dinner- have no idea what Wes and I will make.

HEY! dc is not the south. we are above the mason dixon line! (not that there is anything wrong with the south) but yes, people here are the biggest wimps about snow.

about eating in front of guys... i disagree that guys hate it when girls eat one way or another. guys, at least cool guys, like it when a girl is herself and doesn't do things just to impress them. not that there's anything wrong with having ice cream and a beer together every once in a while, but don't do it just because you are worried he'll be annoyed with you if you don't.

We are doing Corian but we can't have it installed before we move in as we are closing and moving on the same day. We're picking it out and paying in advance because Home Depot has a deal if you pay in full by 3/2, you get free edge treatments and a Corian sink. We don't care about edge treatments but we were waffling on whether to spring for the Corian sink and this made our decision for us.

The advantage is you can unpack minimally so you don't have to clear it all out.
