where is everyone today?
i'm going to go to the gym and do cardio during lunch, haven't decide what i'll do yet. i probably should start running if i'm going to do the First Annual Gym Rats Tax Day 5K next month. i think i need some new sneaks though.
tonight i have yoga.
food-
oatmeal, coffee, smoothie
luna, bean soup with meatless meatballs
thai soup w/ added veggies, une pamplemousse (didn't eat either last night, had a bowl of grapenuts instead)

I'm here... Clients today and also doing cardio - probably elliptical.
Breakfast: protein pankcakes
Snack: homemade protein bar
Lunch: tuna steak, veggie
Snack: ?
Dinner: cheeseburger, salad, protein pudding
Gee... three of my meals have the word "protein" in it... might there be a theme here? :)
Had a hard time posting this morning, IVillage was out of commission, so that may be where everyone is.
Snow day today.
Two hour delay today and my daughter is home sick so I've been cleaning and getting ready for my calligraphy meeting this weekend at my house.
This morning is my last sculpting class, I don't really want to teach it, I mean, would you want to keep working at a job after they gave you notice? The snow isn't too bad here (less than 5cm) But I am feeling super lazy today.
Breakfast: soy milk, bagel, cream cheese, spinach, smoked salmon
Lunch: butternut squash soup
Dinner: shake n'bake chicken, mashed fauxtatoes
Snacks: veggies & dip, apple, banana, babybel
Unfortunately, I won't get a work-out in today. I got up early to finish an essay, and now I'm working on another one. I have class from 3:30 til 8, and then I'm going to Wes's. Ah well. I will have time to go tomorrow and Thursday.
In preparation for eating at Wes's tonight, I am pretty much only snacking- Had an english muffin earlier. Just had some whole wheat crackers. I will probably have a yogurt and something else before I go to class. Eating dinner around 9ish.
DD had her 2-month appointment today and got 4 shots! Then I took her over to her grandmother's house to visit for a bit.
Breakfast - Smoothie (soy milk, whey protein, raspberries, kiwi, apples)
Lunch - pork chops, cabbage, salad
P.M. Snack - Air-popped Popcorn
Dinner - Fish, Green beans, sweet potato
not going to snack while up with baby anymore
I lost 1.5 pounds since I cut out the gym. I'm puzzled! I'm planning on going to Body Pump this evening, but I don't understand why working out causes me to gain weight. ???
how long did you quit for? i wonder if it's all coincidental and going to the gym didn't make you gain weight at all.
if there is a connection, i bet it is that you weren't getting enough calories for breastfeeding AND the gym so your body lowered its metabolism.
