I'm not that bummed out about teaching as much as it messed up what I was planning to do. I haven't run since Sunday and it's already Thursday.

I guess you have been teaching a lot Jean to feel like that. Too bad you answered your phone today and said yes to teaching the ball class. I have learned to let the machine pick up "just in case". I don't care to do evening classes so I am careful in the afternoons not to pick up the phone too quickly.

DH took a look at my CD collection of music for group exercise. He said WOW...you have invested a lot into teaching! When you think each one cost at least $25, it makes me think I have gone way over board and I don't even sub that much. I guess I am hoping I will be.

Went to WW and I was down .2 lbs. I am glad I stayed the same with the crazy stressful time have been having. There has been a lot of good, but it is still stress. At least the shower food is gone, especially the desserts.

Don't know what I will be doing about food today. It seems to be a very unstructured day so far. I will get back to writing everything down tomorrow.

Have a good one all.

That's great advice about not stressing about the weight.

Food update...

Lunch: large salad with oven baked chicken and a homemade cottage-cheese based dressing that DH made

Snack: peanut butter wrap

Dinner: ?

Also, another note on cutting back... I have noticed that I have felt much better this week than I have in a long time. I'm not sure if it's the additional protein or the decreased workouts or both. I did weights this morning and *really* enjoyed myself. I felt like I was able to really push myself (I'm up to 25 lbs on the shoulder press - woowoo!) instead of a lame half-hearted attempt that was becoming disturbingly familiar. I'm still working out 5 days a week but I've cut the duration quite a bit and it's surprising how much better I feel.

Thanks, I'm going to come up with some sort of plan. I'm scared to death that the weight will not come off. And I know I should eat more but I'm afraid. I may need help finding a healthy way to eat enough while losing weight.

one thing i always suggest when people want to get more calories healthfully is right up your alley - juicing. fruit juices have all kinds of healthy calories and aren't filling.

I'm wondering if my milk doesn't have the nutrients that dd needs. She sleeps A LOT. She wakes up a couple of hours in the morning, one in the evening, and a couple in the middle of the night to play. I have to wake her to feed her and change her while she's sleep. Do you think she has no energy or is this normal? It's been happening for about 2.5 weeks. How long do growth spurts last?

Why didn't I think of that? Thanks! I usually juice vegetables but I'm going to try fruit. That will be a treat.

All babies are different--some sleep a lot, some don't.
