I'm not teaching today, yay! I'm going to do the running, hoping to get through week 4 and start week 5 and not be too far off.

DD takes Zoloft and it really helped her. I was going to ask to if you told the doctor how it made you feel. There are a lot of other meds out there that might work better for you too.

I didn't feel too bad when I took Zoloft before, just a bit of shakiness and nausea. He said it's not known for causing weight gain, which I am most concerned about. He said also since I had taken it before with minimal reaction, there's no reason why I shouldn't take it again now. I am going back in a month for a follow up.

Did my Fat-Burning Pilates DVD today. Yes, I know videos are not the best way to go, but seeing as how I'm a grad student, and a lot of the classes at school do not fit my schedule, it's easier for me to work out at home when I have time. Besides, it kicks my a$$ in all the right places, without any "bad" pain- I know my body and how it works well enough, and since Pilates is often connected to dance, I can maintain proper technique.

Breakfast: 2 eggs, half an apple

Lunch/snack: carrots & hummus, sliced cukes, cheddar cheese

Dinner: Wes and I are going to make steak fajitas :)

Shakiness and nausea you can get through. I know someone who had a really bad response to it which is why I was concerned. Honestly, you'll survive weight gain even if that were one of the side effects and in comparison to what you're going through, it would be worth the tradeoff.
