EEEk! The morning step class is now at 6:15! Getting up 15 minutes earlier makes a big difference. The new wood floor in the aerobics studio looks nice, and feels pretty good, I won't make a judgement on it yet.
Later today I see my bf for lunch and then teach piano.
Pre gym: banana, babybel
Post gym: bagel, cream cheese, smoked salmon, spinach; coffee
Lunch: steak salad, a bowl of soup if they have something I want
Dinner: WW pizza and salad; orange jello with crushed pineapple on top

I could NEVER get motivated to teach at 6:30, nevermind 6:15! How are you feeling today?
I'm completely off today.... woo-hoo! I'm going in for a blood draw this morning so I can't eat anything until I get back and then DH and I are going running. I'm also having coffee this afternoon with a trainer who is a friend of my friend. She's been in the business for a long time and I want to pick her brain about a few things. I need to help DH move a table so charity can pick it up tomorrow and I think I might pack a box or two.
Breakfast: protein bar
Snack: Kashi w/milk
Lunch: Turkey wrap, broccoli
Snack: Peanut butter wrap
Dinner: oven fried chicken salad, cottage cheese pudding
i used to teach at 6 am and it was pure hell.
still nursing my back, so just walking on the treadmill again today.

luna, smoothie
can of veg soup (didn't eat it the other day)
i really need to go to the store but i'm too lazy to go. if i don't go, i'll probaby eat thai kitchen soup with lots of veggies added for dinner again tonight.
After working on different floors, I like wood the best. No worry about feet sticking on lateral moves and there seems to be some return bounce. I have to give you credit for getting up so early to take a step class. I could never teach or take a class that early.
I taught 2 classes today after making a treacherous trip on the roads to the gym. Of course the gym was a dead with all the schools having a 2 hour start delay. There were only 5 people in the first class and 8 in the second. This gym usually has 40 and over in a class. At least I got my workout in.
I had a terrible evening worrying about 9 mos pregnant dd coming home last night. It took her over 5 hours and I was so relieved to get her phone call that she was safe after 8:30 after she left work at 3:30. Other dd got home safely and her normal 5 minute "commute" took 30 minutes. Moms just don't ever stop worrying.
I am still psyched to do well with my eating.
Before classes....decaf tea with 1% milk
Brunch...decaf tea with 1%milk, egg substitute omelet with asparagus, turkey breast, reduced fat swiss cheese, and homemade no sugar added applesauce. So yummy!!
Snack...not sure
Dinner...round steak, veggies, salad, leftover whole wheat couscous or whole wheat spaghetti.

Just wanted to add a note about my running program. It went better today than expected. It was a warm-up with 2 8-minute jogs and a 5 minute walk in between. That's the longest I've jogged in a very long time and I was not dying at the end. I'm a little nervous about the third day this week... it'll be a 20 minute run with no walking. Yikes. :)
Btw, for those of you that read my column, my running diary part two is up today.
