what your workout is going to be for the day? Do you plan for the week, do the same thing every week, wing it, plan in the morning, ...?

With this running program, I've been planning for the week. I realized it's good to have a day in between runs so I'm doing the running Monday, Wednesday, Friday. I usually fill up Tuesday and Thursday with cardio on the elliptical or a step class. I try to keep my lifting days to Mondays and Thursdays. That seems to be a decent amount of time for recovery.

it varies depending on my attitude toward working out. in general, i plan for the week in advance. first i plan out when i'm teaching and the regular weekly classes that i take, then i plan the rest around those and whatever non-workout commitments i have that week. the more rigorous my workout schedule is, the more meticulous i have to be in planning it all out and sticking to the plan.
