I'm training clients today and also doing my own strength training and cardio. DH's birthday is next Tuesday but we're celebrating it on Saturday since we're closing and moving on Wednesday. I went shopping for him yesterday and am excited about the gifts I got him. :) It's nothing too exciting... just some new clothes, shoes, etc. (Things he won't or doesn't buy for himself.)

Not a whole lot going on today other than working.

Breakfast: Kashi w/milk

Snack: protein bar

Lunch: Fake chicken, veggie

Dinner: salad, tofu black bean burritos, lemon cottage cheese pudding

The side effects have hit me full force. I'm quite nauseous at times, and shaking, and sweaty palms and insomnia. I skipped the gym this morning because I didn't get enough sleep last night. I did sleep in a little and feel better now. I have a long night of piano teaching.

Breakfast: a bunch of grapes, a cup of tea
Lunch: roasted veggies, chicken, maybe WW pasta
Dinner: takeout chinese (too lazy to cook)

Step is so painful after baby, but I love it! I find that my older bras without the underwire work better right now. They have better motion control. If dh comes home from work in time, I'd like to go to Sarge Roy's kickboxing class. The baby gave him a hard time last night and I'm not sure he's up for it today. Every time she cried, he gave her another bottle. When I came home, she had a belly ache and lots of gas. Poor thing was overfed!

Breakfast - eggs, oatmeal, 1/2 banana, orange slices

Hot lemon water

Snack - Protein shake with added fruit

Snack - fruit salad

coffee

Lunch - Roast, vegetables, salad

hot lemon water

Snack - carrot and celery salad (carrots, celery, hard-boiled eggs, walnuts, olive oil, vinegar, chili powder, paprika)

Dinner - roasted chicken, broccoli, pasta with vegetables

hot lemon water

Have you talked to your doctor about the side effects?

If it's any comfort, it does get better pretty quickly.

Of course it's understood that there will be side effects. I'm not saying that they don't suck, but they are THE SAME side effects as I had the last time I took Zoloft. So I'm complaining, but I don't feel any DIFFERENT side effects from previously.

I feel a little bit better mentally, but I think that's placebo.

I've been reading that they will give medication for the side effects, that might help in the beginning.

I'd rather ride through the side effects. One medication is quite enough for me!

I don't know if he ever noticed me holding her that way. I'll show him. Usually they have a good time when I'm away. Dh turns on the music and they dance around together. She was just cranky yesterday...
