Lower body workout?

Hi everyone:
I'm new and have a question regarding lower body workout. I normally workout my lower body 2 days a week and upper body, I divide into groups. Example: Monday - all lower body, Tuesday - triceps, back, shoulders, Wednesday - biceps, chest, Thursday - all lower body. Can I divide the lower body...let's say, Monday - quads, inner thighs, Thursday - hamstrings and glutes? Or should I always workout all of lower body every time?

I spend way more time than is needed at the gym but I like to play around. Have you tried different routines for lifting?
