Sports bras

I spent about six months not going to the gym, and surprise surprise, gained a fair amount of weight. Not only did I have to go out and buy fat pants, I had to go buy some fat bras, too. So I was wondering what type of sports bra to use for my new, bigger boobies. I'm up to a DD now, and the cotton things just aren't cutting it for step. Anyone got any good advice? I'll pay anything just to keep my girls in one place!

I wasn't around when that last thread was done, but I wanted to add my 2 cents since I'm a DD also.

I've got 2 favorites: Natori, which is sold in dept. stores, and the Champion Underwire (sporting goods store). Natori has a regular back and the Champion has a racer back.

HTH!

Also, what about workout clothes that have built-in bras? I tend to avoid shirts with built-in bras because they are less than effective, and it's hard to find something that will accomodate all of my shape. So, do people wear sports bras under the built-in bras? I'd like to get something cute to wear to the gym, if I'm going to be there all the time, watching myself flail around in the mirrors on all the walls.

I wear a bra under them too. I once didn't wear a bra when teaching yoga. Downward facing dog was a challenge...the girls did not stay in. Last time I do that!

I have some tops that are really snug and some that are loose--thanks for the warning. I'll make sure not to wear the loose ones alone!

i wear sports bras under those tops with built in bras unless i'm doing something like pilates or yoga or just wearing it for non-workout wear. but all built in bras are not created equal, some aren't supportive enough to ever rely on.

i'm a C cup. as i said in that other thread, i'm in love with the champion action shape and i think it's the best bra for C cups and bigger.

i wear it under tanks with spagetti straps even though you can see the straps of the bra - i match the sports bra color to the outfit. i think it looks fine to do that. layering is "in" now anyway, and it just looks like you are layering a couple of tops.
