I think I'm going to do step this morning and then strength train legs and shoulders. That's my plan, I think. My whole gym and eating is going to be thrown off for the week because of the move and I'm trying not to freak out about that. :) I'm really hoping that even if time is short for lifting, I'll still be able to squeeze in my running. I'm not going to worry too terribly much about lifting as I'm sure my muscles will get a workout with moving and painting. The high protein diet is having to be relaxed a bit as we're getting low on food in the house and there's no sense in buying more.

We had our final walk-through yesterday and I'm excited to move. Our new place has so much potential that I can't wait to get in there and get started. We're designing a couch and we started that process yesterday. We're doing a deep green microfiber sectional with purple throw pillows.... dark rich colors. There's a great company in town that custom builds furniture and they take less time than buying from a furniture store. The cost is about the same so we might as make it exactly how we want it.

As far as food... it's tricky. At some point today, I will probably eat a protein shake, a salad, a frozen patty of some kind and that's about all I know right now. We're pretty much freezer diving at this point. Just need to get through another couple of days.

My parents got home on Saturday night, and this week is my spring break, so there's not a lot of work to be done.
Today I am going shopping with my mom and I teach step tonight. The side effects from the medicine are getting much better, I think I am through the worst part.

Breakfast: bagel with natural peanut butter; V8
Lunch & Dinner: ???

Only have two weight training classes today. May do some body rolling & yoga to work the kinks out of my hips and back. Wrapping up the 'session' classes this week so I need to come up w/ a little something special to give them. A longtime participants mentioned awhile back that she wished she had a certificate that said she is now fit, so it might be a cute idea to make one up to give out to everyone. :-) So I guess I better hop to it, since I'll need to send it for photocopying in time for me to fill out the names for tonight's class. Have to get a client's program completed & in hardcopy too.

Breakfast: molasses-oat-banana bread (its good AND healthy); hot lemon water; green tea

Meal 2: fruit-soy protein smoothie

Meal 3: ramen noddles w/ stir fry veggies; hot lemon water

Supper: falafel & veggies in a ww pita; herbal tea

Snacks: ww pita w/ hummus; molasses-oat-banana bread; soy chai latte; V-8

Sounds fun that you're custom designing your own furniture!

Body rolling?

That's a great idea about "fit" certificates.

I'm not running anymore. I'm only doing workouts that I enjoy until I figure out what's going on with my calorie consumption and weight.

Breakfast - Eggs, oatmeal, bacon
AM Snack - Protein shake with added fruit
Lunch - Tuna salad
PM Snack - Fiber One
Dinner - Spaghetti, asparagus

DD is sleeping in her crib by herself all night. She wakes up once at 2AM and then again at 5:30AM. As proud as I am of her getting to be such a big girl and independent, I miss my little munchkin that wants to cuddle next to Mommy at night. That was short-lived! She doesn't even want to be held as she falls asleep. She's so much like me!

Not planning on working out today. If I go to the gym, I'm going to try that super tough athletic conditioning class. I find that although the scale treats me better when I don't workout, I feel better when I do. DH even commented at how my body was tightening up when I was working out. Instead of working out 6 days a week, I'm going to drop it to 4.

Hi! We have the same thing at one gym too, Jean. There is boot camp, 1 to 1, triple fat burner...you get the idea. I am still an old school exerciser...I like to do straight cardio for at least 45 minutes and the same with the body sculpting. I feel both suffer when the exercises cycle one to the other in the same class. I do hate stopping and bending to pick up weights even with keeping your head higher than your heart.

You have to try the 3 bean salad from Costco. It is so good and a big hit at parties. It is a big jar, but it does last a long time in the fridge.

Got myself out early enough to take the toning class before the step today. It as ok and I only counted 3 contraindicated moves between both classes. I am getting way too picky.

Food...decaf tea with ff milk and homemade unsweetened applesauce before class.

Brunch....a very big omelet with egg substitute, reduced fat swiss cheese, 2 turkey breakfast sausage, and asparagus. Forgot to put the tomatoes in it...Decaf tea with ff milk.

Snacks...a small bowl of oatmeal, strawberries, orange, almonds*.

Dinner...veggie stew, salad, roasted oven stuffer.

I realized I had somersized yesterday without too much difficulty. I am going to see if I can keep it going for now. *Almonds are considered a funky food, but I find I need the crunch and they are good for you.

It is hard being between houses and keep enough food around. I wonder how you do high protein with being a vegan. It must be challenging.

The couch sounds like a great idea. I wish there was a place around here like that.

You will be back to your workout schedule soon enough. Just do what you can do for now and you will be fine. Sometimes you just can't fit it all in and you have a big move coming up. I am sure the time will go by quickly.

I am so glad you are doing better! I have been worried about you. I heard it can take up to 2 weeks to get full benefit of the medicine, so hang in there. Enjoy your spring break.
