I picked the blushing icon not because I'm blushing but because I can't stop sneezing. Went out for week 7 of the running program with DH this morning and it just opened the floodgates with my allergies. I can smell the orange blossoms so I'm sure that's part of it. Sneezing aside, the running went quite well. It felt easy and I was tempted to sort of skip ahead but the program specifically says not to do that so I didn't. :) Also did strength training for chest and triceps.

Going to work today and also finishing up some last minute packing. We signed closing papers yesterday but we don't take possession of the house until 6:00 p.m. tomorrow evening. We've also got to get rid of some of trash and things that we're throwing out. It's amazing just how much stuff you accumulate over the years. Food is questionable again... no idea what we're eating. :)

Lots of sleep lately for me, it's great...my dad brought me back a duvet that's stuffed with 100% silk and a cover that's also silk, very warm! Today I'm not doing anything except teaching step.

Breakfast: bagel, cream cheese, smoked salmon, spinach; hot chocolate made with soy milk and splenda
Lunch: spinach salad with grilled chicken
Dinner: steamed egg custard

Hi! Sorry about the ticket yesterday, Jean. I can truly understand your annoyance since you really didn't know it was illegal. I did know that was illegal, like riding in a shoulder, but I don't know how I knew it. I always wish there was a cop around when people did that while I sat in the long line. I guess now you will be feeling the same way.

Taught my cardio fit class today and it was 20 minutes of hi/lo and 40 minutes of toning with weights. It seems to be going ok, but the "die hards" don't come to it. They rather go to the kickboxing class on Monday. They think that by doing a lot of reps on one side is a good hard workout instead of thinking they are straining their muscles. Oh, well...to each his own. I will be giving the class up when I have my surgery anyway.

Good job with being on week 6 of the running program. I wish I could have joined you with it.

Food: orange and decaf tea with ff milk before class.
Brunch: 1 egg and 2 egg whites scrambled with reduced fat swiss, 1 plum tomato, fresh spinach, and 2 turkey sausage (very yummy and I ran out of egg substitute)-decaf tea.
Snack: fruit
Dinner: leftover oven stuffer, salad with feta cheese, fresh spinach sauteed.

DDs are coming over later. Older DD who is less than 2 weeks from her due date wants to use the treadmill and other DD is just coming over to hang out. I will be cooking chicken cutlets for them as well as mashed potatoes. Love cooking for the family...

Have a great day...

Grace
