Thanks Jean! The movers aren't coming until this evening so we have the majority of the day to finish up packing and get some errands done. We aren't getting internet at the new place until Friday so this'll be my last post for a few days.
I posted yesterday about my sneezing.... I had a runny nose all day. I actually cancelled 4 clients because it was getting impossible to train. :( My nose is still a little runny today but feels much better than yesterday.
I'm planning on doing strength training for biceps and back today at home before we jump into the remainder of the packing. Food is up in the air again.
It's weird to think that this is my last day in this house. DH and I built it together and it was the very first house that I've ever lived in. This house has seen us through many phases of our lives and it's a little sad to be leaving it. But, I'm also excited to be moving to a new area and a new space. I've managed to wrangle a little more decorative control from DH this time around and am looking forward to painting and decorating moreso with the new place than we did here.
Feeling particularly hungry today. It's also grocery day so there's not much to eat in the house. That's a good thing because if there were, I'd probably eat all of it!
Doing my step class today, I hope. DH couldn't get dd to take a bottle yesterday while I was at the gym. It rattled his nerves a little bit, but he feels like he can handle it. I'm going to make sure to feed her before I leave, but it's hard to plan things like that.
hey everybody, sorry i haven't been around - i've been sick. i'm back at work today. i'm going to go the gym soon and lift weights - between hurting my back and being sick i haven't weightlifted in a long time. i haven't done anything in a long time. i've missed two weeks of yoga classes, which really sucks. i did manage to teach my cardio kickboxing class this monday, but that was about it.
good luck with your move kel. millcreek - how is going trying to increase your calories?
jean- i learned how to do a basic knitting stitch this weekend! i'm in a new DC vegan knitting group that just formed. i have a couple of inches done on a scarf, but i'm really slow. i still want you to show me how to knit leg warmers - right now all i know how to knit is a straight line (like a scarf). it's so fun to try new things! now we definitely need to get over to the climbing wall so i can try that.
food-
spelt sourdough bread with earth balance, fresh orange/pineapple/strawberry juice
amy's vegetarian loaf frozen meal (includes mashed potato and peas and corn), luna bar, orange
thai kitchen soup with added veggies, grapefruit, sweet potato
at home i have a link for a place where you can send things to be donated. i like your idea of lacing the leg warmers up the back - you'll have to show me how to do that. and your special knit/crochet hybrid.
i like knitting with other people, because it's boring to sit and knit by yourself. i can't really watch tv when i do it, because i have to look at what i'm doing. it's fine if we are watching the simpsons or the daily show or something like that, but usually i want to look at the tv. i could never knit and watch 24! i brought my knitting on the metro this morning though - that's a good place to knit. i can get two full rows done on my commute in. every little bit counts! i'd love to finish the scarf before it gets too warm to need a scarf!
