I thought I'd start posting in the journal, for a couple of reasons. First of all, to any lurkers, I don't have any trouble getting enough calories in my diet, and I don't have any particular fitness/health goals. So, take me as an example of a gym tourist, more than a gym rat. On the other hand, I'm probably five pounds away from fitting back into my old jeans, so I'd like to get a handle on what I'm eating and how it's working with me and my workout schedule. So, here goes.
Exercise: 1 hour toning class, plus walking all over town to get to the gym!
Breakfast: whole wheat chocolate chip muffin and a cup of earl grey (with ~2 tbs. 2% milk)
Lunch: Turkey sandwich with lettuce, tomato, peppers, cheese and mayo, on white bread, 1 cup dried cranberries.
Snack: Orange (the Safeways in my area are carrying these nice torocco oranges, anyone tried them?)
Dinner: scrambled eggs and soyrizo, with tortillas (homemade if I'm feeling motivated)
