That's just great. Not only do I need to eat an extra 500 calories a day as a nursing mother, but now I have to worry about an additional 500 calories before my period!?!?!? Jean, does the book say what women should do to control cravings?

She doesn't mind juicing. I've been trying to add more calories and increase my protein so I've been making smoothies with lots of fruit and whey protein. The problem is finding the time! It takes 2 hours to eat lunch because of interruptions. By the time I finish, it's time for my afternoon smoothie and I don't always feel like making it and then taking the time to clean the blender.

If I get PMS cravings, which is pretty rare, I'll eat more healthy foods instead of giving in. That way, I can take advantage of the faster metabolism and hopefully drop a pound after AF leaves.
