It's weird being the first one on the board in the morning. These early morning hours are definitely a change...
Breakfast - Fiber One with Soy Milk
Lunch - Pepper Steak
Snack - Not sure
Dinner - Not sure
I ordered my groceries on-line and they were supposed to arrive yesterday. Well, the delivery guy didn't come so I don't have any groceries and can't plan my meals. Hopefully he'll come today. I e-mailed the company and told them how inconvenient it was not having my delivery on the day it was promised and told them I thought they should give me a gift certificate for the inconvenience. Is that overboard?
I have so little time these days and even less sleep. I'm trying to go to my step class this evening.

Pre-gym breakfast: banana, 1 slice of whole grain toast with butter & Marmite
Post-gym: the usual bagel & smoked salmon, coffee, blah blah blah
Lunch: Greek salad, BBQ chicken pizza
Dinner: ???
Did step class and lower body weights this morning, teaching piano tonight. Lunch with BF.
i was wondering how much sleep you can possibly be getting. hopefully you'll figure out how to get enough. i don't think it was overboard to request a gift certficate btw.
my office smells like canadian bacon or a spiral ham. maybe some of you would like that, but it's grossing me out. who cooks canadian bacon at the office?
tonight i'm going to lift weights, probably at home because it's so gross out i just want to go home after work rather than go to the gym.
food-
spelt sourdough toast with earth balance, coffee for breakfast
smoothie and veggie/tofu stirfry over brown rice for lunch
thai soup a la jen for dinner, grapefruit
No, I think you should absolutely ask. So few companies are customer-oriented these days that I take it upon myself to ask for compensation when I don't think I've been treated well (case in point: moving last week). Let me know if they give you anything. :)
My computer is up and running. Woo-hoo. No more sharing DH's. We went for a walk this morning and I did strength training for back and biceps. I started wondering if I'm any less deserving of the nickname gymrat now that I'm only at the gym two days a week and doing the rest of my workouts at home. :) DH and I also went for a 40 minute walk this morning on trail I ran on yesterday.
I don't have a lot of plans today. Still trying to get situated in the new place. We need some barstools so I may go out shopping for those. I'd really like to cook and go grocery shopping, but our kitchen is full of tile pieces from the destruction of the countertops and it's a real pain to try and prepare anything. Our dishwasher is also not functioning properly so I think I may have to call in a serviceman. And my mp3 player broke yesterday. Blah. :)
Breakfast: Kashi w/milk
Snack: protein shake
Lunch: tuna wrap and mashed cauliflower
Snack: protein pudding
Dinner: buffalo chicken salad w/homemade blue cheese dressing
HI all...Sorry about you not getting your groceries yet, Millcreek. I hope they do come today so you can EAT! I haven't tried the online shopping yet. I am one of those weirdos that actually likes to go grocery shopping every week.
Had the most glorious shower today at younger dds house in their new bathroom. Can't wait to have my shower back...didn't know I could miss it so much. I have a good excuse not to exercise...I will get too smelly...LOL!
The day does not seem to be promising here...a forecast of 1 to 3 inches of snow tonight. How bizarre to have snow for Easter. Poor kids will be egg hunting bundled up for winter.
With things upside down here, I am not getting much done. I will have major cleaning once the bathroom is done...the whole house is full of construction dust. I was really dumb to clean this past weekend. What was I thinking? I hope to get the house ship shape before Easter. Haven't made any plans for Easter yet either. Guess I will be home cooking which is fine with me. If things are still a mess...we will send out for Chinese food and start a new tradition.
Have a nice day all...

The idea behind online shopping is convenience right? If your stuff didn't come when they promised then they should be doing something to compensate. They can't expect to compete w/ the local grocers if they don't follow through on their promises/customer service.
Well, I'll update everyone soon on the employment situation. I have found more work, both instructing and training (of course still have my Con. Ed. classes and indepnedant clients).
Went out and took a class the first time in who knows how long and managed to sprain my ankle this a.m. The 2 classes I have tomorrow won't be impacted too badly, but I better be OK by Sat. since I have an advanced Step class to lead. It looks pretty ugly but doesn't feel too bad. I can't find any of the gazillion Tensor bandages I have around so I'll have to go pick one up this afternoon. Shoot. Our alley has been so rutted from melting snow and ice that I haven't been able to park in the driveway. A plow finally came by this morning, but now there's a 2' high barrier of ice in the way. I was going to shovel but the ankle pretty much rules that out 'til at least tomorrow or Fri. Somehow it just doesn't seem as safe parking on the street.
Did BodyStep (finished the class despite the ankle) and some weights.
Breakfast: oatmeal w/ mixed berries, almonds & Silk; black coffee
Lunch: carrots & ww pita w/ super garlicky hummus; banana-split smoothie (it was sooo good - frozen strawberries, banana, chocolate soy protein and vanilla Silk)
Supper: ww pasta & veggies tossed w/ vegan spinach-walnut pesto; hot lemon water
Snacks: fresh veggies & ww pita w/ hummus; tortilla chips & fresh salsa: fresh fruit: herbal tea
Definitely complain! I'm sure they're happy to hear from customers. I would have thrown in something about being a new mom and going back to work, too.
I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with this. I was thinking about doing something like this, but I enjoy the time away from my kiddos. LOL. It's sad if you think about it, I enjoy going to the store for some quiet time. LOL.
I did an hour of cardio (elliptical) then an hour of w/t.
I had a tough time with my w/o. I am realizing I'm a carbaholic!! I fixed my kids a grilled cheese sandwich and thought I will have one myself instead of cooking something different. OMG.......I felt awful during my w/o. Sigh.
