Yay! The week's almost over! I still don't have groceries and I think I'm going to run to the store today to pick up a few things. It's embarrassing to have my mother over and not have any food or drink to offer her. Grrr... I'll include that in my 3rd correspondence with the company.

Breakfast - egg, oatmeal

Snack - cheese and dried cranberries

Lunch - carrot & celery salad

Snack - Rice

Dinner - Chicken, veggies, pasta

Yes, I definitely need to go to the grocery store. We don't have anything to eat! I gained a few pounds this week. I attribute them to TOM and the increased level of stress that returning to work has caused. I'm also having trouble getting to the gym because I'm exhausted much of the time. I'm going to make some modifications to my schedule, freeing up some time during the week.

You just had a baby and went back to work--your mom will understand if you have no food in the house (or at least w/ me, my mom expected it!).

Breakfast: banana, 2 slices of whole grain bread with butter and Marmite
Snack: coffee, kettle korn
Lunch: spaghetti squash, grilled chicken, oven roasted carrots, broccoli & cauliflower, sugar free tomato sauce, parmesan cheese
Dinner: pizza with whole grain crust, will probably add a spinach salad

This morning I did boot camp class (upper body). My whole body hurts - shoulders from the massage, and legs from yesterday. Tonight I teach piano.

going to go run/walk now, swim tonight (hope i can get a lane!) to make up for not going on Sunday because the gym is closed for Easter. i'm going to swim 20 laps - that's what i did last weekend and it felt great!

i finally started running again on Tuesday - i did a five minute warm up, intervals of 2 minutes jogging/1 minute walking for about 20 minutes with a longer jogging interval and sprint at the end, and then a short cool down. it turned out to be 2.25 miles. it felt good and easy when i did it, but i was sore later. that's what i'm going to do again today. next week, i'll do 3:1 intervals.

food-

coffee, luna, 2 flax waffles

actually i have no idea what i'm going to eat for the rest of the day. hopefully some veggies, because i still haven't eaten any in a while!!!

Dinner update: rice, squash, fish, some tofu sheets rolled up w/ veggies inside (all sound healthy but I'm sure it was cooked in tons of oil).
