Well, I went to yoga last night, which is the only active thing I've done since breaking up with Wes. Still not much of an appetite. Won't be working out this evening- I think I'm going to try to catch up on sleep, since I don't have much of an appetite for that either- I can't fall asleep and I wake up at like 6 am, when I don't have to be up for at least another 2-3 hours.

I might try getting in some exercise this weekend, but I have 2 10-page papers to write for the beginning of the week.

true confessions: i didn't go swimming last night. felt too crampy b/c it's that TOM. but i got a lot of knitting done and judged all the American Idol contestants solely on their looks. i did run/walk as planned in the afternoon though.

you are going to run, spin and lift back-to-back tomorrow? are you really going to have enough energy to do all of that with your usual intensity? you'd probably get a lot more out of it if you split it up and did some today.

i'm spinning today and taking a yoga class tonight. i got my new yoga mat bag and am using it for the first time, it's great.

on saturday morning i have pilates and then i am leafletting at the circus tomorrow night. after leafleting, we are going out for some good food and beer, maybe to this place with vegan pizza near the MCI center where we are leafletting. i've never been but i hear it's good.

I did day two, week six of the running program. We even ran outside in the rain. :) Thankfully, it wasn't raining too hard but it started to really pick up right after we got back inside. Also worked chest and triceps at home with my gym toys. I'm going to go grocery shopping today (should I go for you Millcreek?) and maybe try to look for barstools. Our countertops are arriving this morning and our dining room furniture will be here tomorrow.

Plans for the weekend... just to get our water filtration and instant hot water dispenser hooked up. DH is playing amateur plumber so I fully recognize that we may not be able to use the sink at all this weekend. Also, going to do some family stuff... my uncle-in-law has been diagnosed with inoperable brain cancer and he has about 12 weeks to live, the doctors think. DH's family is devastated (as are we) so we're going to go out there on Sunday to be supportive.

We are essentially moved in. We are mostly unpacked except for a few things we have in storage. It'll be nice when the countertops and all of the furniture arrives.

My calorie/carb cycling yielded very little results. My weight fluctuated so much from day to day that it was impossible to tell if there was any real progress. I decided officially to give it up this week because of lack of results and also because I could feel my relationship with food getting worse. I was obssessing about food, especially on my "on" days and I had a LOT more binging urges (and subsequent binges) than I feel is normal for me. I'm going to try to adopt a higher protein percentage every day and see what happens. I'm also going to continue with the running and do a 3 day split.

Thank you... I am hoping this will be one of those cases where the doctors are wrong about how much time he has.

I ran before spin last week because you have to get there half an hour before to sign up anyway.

Well, if it hadn't been for moving, I'd be on week 7 but since I only got in one day of running last week, I decided I should repeat week 6. Slow and steady, right? On top of that, I'm running on trails which I've learned is fun but quite a bit harder. According to my HRM, I burn about 100 more calories doing essentially the same distance.

I absolutely do take extra calcium and vitamin C. :) Thanks for the warning.

i decided that none of the men i saw are attractive and shouldn't win (Bo, Constantine, 12 year blond kid, fat guy with bad "beard"). i decided that the two blond girls who i can only tell apart because one is chubbier shouldn't win. also the brunette who they said sounded like taylor dane that was in the bottom three - i don't like her either. i liked the pretty girl with the afro but i hear she got kicked off.

then when i came into work today, someone convinced me to listen to Bo perform before i judge him. ok, so he gets another chance. i also found out that there were several contestants i
