Hi Ladies

It has been awhile since I have posted I have been CRAZY busy lately.

Work, home life and we had a death in our family (my uncle) and it was hectic.

Things are going well as far as the weight loss journey goes. I am down 124.5 so far and figure I have another 14 #s or so to go. I am trying to really look at the overall picture and start to "strut" my stuff if you will and become a little bit more porud of myself.

I am frustrated with my workouts as of late. The weather is just starting to break here and I have been itching to get outside and do some walk/running, but I don't feel I get as intense of a workout outside.

I also feel that I would like to cut one day out of my routine all together. I am going 6 days per week usually in the evening since I have more time to do it than. I have gone in the morning lately due to circumstances and really only get a 45-50 min workout in. Where in the evenings I can do much more.

I have a question. I am trying to cope with not feeling super guilty about wanting to cut a day out. I have been doing this for awhile now and I feel it is such a part of my life I feel horrible when I don't go. Friday I skipped because I literally could not keep my head up after the long week, I was in jammies and in bed at 7:30.

Is there a way to refresh things? To feel less consumed by working out, getting to the gym and dreading it? Somedays that is how I feel so I know it is time for a change.

I also have been shopping A LOT lately. I am headed to Vegas in a few weeks. So I have been on the swimsuit search! YUCK!!!!!!!!!! I have gone from a size 26 to a 10, and can I tell you I have icky loose skin! Barf. It is really playing with my mind since I of course would like my body to look better. I am trying to see the bigger less vain picture.

Hope everyone is well.

Hugs

good to hear from you!! sorry about your uncle.

i think it sounds like a good idea to cut out one day of working out. if it makes you feel better, try to get some extra activity in that day by taking stairs, taking a walk during lunch with a co-worker, parking farther from the supermarket, etc. as

Hi Jen,

I do have 6 pretty intense (for me) workouts. I do at least 45 mins of cardio. I alternate days, one day I run a hill program and use the bike and the other day I walk a really intense hill program and use the elliptical. I always do abs and I have started to mix some free weights in there as well.

I am thinking of starting to walk outside a little more often to enjoy the weather. It won't be as much as I do at the gym, on Weight Watchers you can earn activity points and eat them if I want them, I never use them so it is not really that I am after. I gauge how I am doing by my workouts though. Kind of hard to explain.

I really think I have burnt myself out. Working out as hard as I do as many days as I do has taken it's toll. I am ready for a few less intense days.

Thanks for the advice Jen :)

Wow! I didn't realize the extent of your weightloss journey. Congratulations! That's an amazing achievement. I think we all get in a rut at times. It's fine to drop to 5 days a week instead of 6. Or, instead of doing your typical workout on the sixth day, do something you enjoy like a sport or play at the park. Anytime you want to freshen things up, try a new activity. Try a new piece of cardio equipment or a new way of working certain muscles. (I need to take a bit of my own advice here.) Maybe next month we can do a physical challenge rather than a food challenge to liven things up. You'll figure something out and this feeling will pass.
