Again, woke up too late to go to the gym :( I have tkd tonight. Last night we did a bunch of boxing, just to mix things up, so my back feels really good right now. If it weren't for the aspect of getting punched in the face I might take up boxing. I've always had quick hands and strong punches, especially for my size. I'll stick with olympic style tkd so I don't get punched in the nose--ouch!

Food:
half a bagel, strawberry cream cheese
nuts
dh is getting me lunch when he meets me at doctors office
shephards pie
banana
salad

My 8th grade yearbook says that I wanted to become the first female professional boxer when I grew up. I would love to box. I don't mind getting hit in the face as much as I worry about my brain getting knocked around and damaged. I heard about a boxing gym somewhere near here with trainers and everything. One of the radio personalities was trying to lose weight and was going to the boxing gym. He was talking about what a great workout it was and I thought that I would like to do that some day. I bet it's expensive though.

Went to the gym this AM vs. the evening. I am trying this out for awhile to see if I can get a better feeling about going. I figure it's in the morning if I get there and get it over with I don't even have to think about it for the rest of the day.

I did 45 mins of cardio. 35 mins on the treadmill an intense hill rpogram. 10 mins on the bike. Abs.

Food!

Breakfast -

Hey, welcome back, Jodi!

Today I am teaching 2 step classes - one in the morning which is an interval class (going to do punching) and my regular evening class. A lady in the morning class said that her hubby wanted to take piano lessons, so I gave her a business card.

Breakfast: bagel, cream cheese, spinach, smoked salmon; jasmine tea
Lunch: oven roasted veggies with grilled chicken boob and WW pasta
Dinner: Five spice stew beef & daikon radish, brown rice

update: i take it back about not liking to run in the city, at least here in DC... it's really invigorating to get to see so many great sights and symbols during my run and it makes the time go so much faster. on today's run i ran past: the white house, the old executive office building, the washington monument, the reflecting pool with the lincoln memorial on the other side, the new WWII memorial, the tidal basin in full cherry bloom with the jefferson memorial on the other side, and the mall with the capitol building on the other side.

Yay, my best friend came over this morning and we did one of my Pilates DVDs! And we're both going to keep up doing it together as much as we can- as her wedding gets closer and closer. We're both going to yell at each other in motivational ways to keep going :) Such as "25 inches!"- where my waist will be once I tone up, and "fabulous arms!" for her, because her wedding dress is very much about having good arms.

Food is still weird- not really hungry at proper times, still getting back into normal eating habits since the break-up. And I'm currently battling PMS and massive chocolate-cravings.
