I'm taking it easy today. I'm only doing ball class. I'm teaching my first regular sports conditioning class tomorrow!
breakfast: oatmeal w/ raisins and almonds, green tea
lunch: chicken breast and spinach salad

I have already been to the gym this morning and let me tell you I am glad I got it over with today. Although I am not a morning workout type person I like being in there when it is a little more peaceful.
55 mins of cardio, 650 calories burned, 5 miles, ab work.

i didn't end up teaching cardio kickboxing last night, when i got there, only one person had showed up and he thankfully didn't want to do class by himself. so i went to Whole Foods and came home and cooked myself breakfast for the rest of the week!
today, i'm going to lift weights at lunch time and do yoga and pilates at home tonight. also, take the dog for a walk.
food-
coffee, homemade breakfast of "tofu rancheros" with scrambled tofu and "texican" veggies, ff refried beans, salsa, chopped tomato, and vegan sausages.
can of veggie soup and smoothie for lunch
strawberries, leftover broccoli rabe and meatballs, some indian flavored greens if still hungry
If I can get all my work done before going to the doctor, I plan on swimming laps this afternoon. The outdoor pool hath finally opened! I have tkd tonight.

I like my mini workout sessions at home. It was nice to do a few exercises at home and not feel guilty about skipping the gym yesterday. I still had my gym bag in case I could have gone, but when I couldn't, I didn't feel bad because I still got in a good workout at home. I did back, biceps, and abs last night. Tonight *I'm* taking dh out on a date so I'm not going to get to the gym again. Instead I will work chest, triceps, and abs at home.
It's been a stress-filled day already. I don't even want to post my food journal because it's so bad. I've been to the vending machine twice!
Breakfast - 1 hard-boiled egg, coffee, Pop Tarts (blush)
Snack - Oreo cookies (blush)
Lunch - Fish, asparagus
Snack - oranges
Dinner - Out with dh. Probably soup & salad (Oops, can't eat salad at night b/c of dd.) I don't know what I'll have. We're going to an Italian Restaurant. I'll make good choices since I messed up so badly today.
I did another 5K this morning. No weights today... did them yesterday. The run felt a little bit easier this morning and that was good. The first 20 minutes or so are kind of rough but then it seems to get easier... or perhaps just more manageable.
DH left for Vegas this morning and I'm getting ready for my mom's visit tomorrow. She'll be here until Saturday so I probably won't get on the board too much. I've got lots to organize and clean today and it's sort of nice to have the day to myself.
Had a long day yesterday but it was good. Two of my clients renewed and one of my clients gave me $100 and told me to go have fun with my mom. I was so shocked and I tried to give it back to her but she wouldn't let me.

Busy, busy day. (I shouldn't even be here.) Did Body Pump this morning; will do technique drills for kickboxing this afternoon; teach a yoga/pilates fusion class at the hospital; then kickboxing towrap up. On top of it I have to try to get my handouts prepared for my lifestyle/wght. mgmt. course tomorrow & do a bunch of laundry. (Must squeeze a bath in somehow between KB drills & 'fusion'. :-P )
Breakfast: Lemon Zest Luna bar; soy capuccino
Lunch: tofu weiners & beans; reheated leftover soy capuccino
Supper: tabbouli; herbal tea
Snacks: homemade trail mix; fresh fruit; either ww pita & hummus OR tortilla chips & mango-peach salsa; little piece o' chocolate; tea
Went for a picnic in the park today with bf. Before that, I had a pedicure, and went shopping. A branch of a store that I LOVE was closing, so all the clothes were at least 50% off. I got a belt, 4 pairs of undiepants, a skirt, and a pair of pants for less than $30!! Also bought 2 more skirts at Old Navy. Teaching step tonight. It is hot here today.
