Breakfast: bagel, cream cheese, spinach, smoked salmon
Lunch: chayote salad, ???
Snack: coffee, banana, Zone chocolate/peppermint bar, and oh I really want some chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream!

Sounds like a good challenge, Jean, and scenic. Try it!

B - bacon, eggs, coffee

Snack - orange (Did I tell you that my parents sent oranges from Florida?)

Lunch - Asparagus (I didn't have time to pack a lunch. Maybe I can get dh to run out and grab a grilled chicken salad for me. Or I can get one after work.)

Snack - orange

Dinner - Flounder, mixed veggies

I LOST 4 POUNDS SINCE IMPLEMENTING MY NO-GRAIN DIET A WEEK AGO. YAY!!!!

Working out at home is working beautifully. It's not as good as going to the gym, but at least I'm maintaining the habit of doing something physical every day. I'm working my legs today: sqauts, lunges, calf raises, maybe some ad & abductor work. I'm also doing abs again. My abs still feel funny when I do crunches. They're getting stronger but I wonder if things will ever go back to the way they were...

I would go for it Jean, and like you said, if you get tired you can just walk. It really isn't that big of a deal. When I was a runner we trained based on how we felt individually, which sometimes means jumping up a half-mile or even a mile at a time, just out of the blue. I think these running programs do the gradual thing so that new runners don't go all out, feel horrible, and then never want to run again. But you are smart enough to know what your body can do.

Jumping off my soap box now

I am going to do legs and go swimming later this afternoon.

Food:
toaster stroudel
quesadilla
strawberries or grapes
going to a carribean place that I've never been to before, so who knows what I'll end up eating

if you end up getting injured, it was too much of a jump in mileage. if you don't end up getting injured, it was fine to do it.

In every bootcamp class we do a bit of step, then she gives the class a number: 1, 2, or 3...she has 3 stations set up. Today, since it was upper body, we had bicep curls with the band, tricep extension with the band, and pec flyes on the ball. When we're done cardio, she yells "STATIONS!!" and we run to the right station and rotate around the room. Then a little more cardio, and we do the 3 stations again. Of course, the station exercises vary all the time.

Could it be some sort of bacterial growth in your blender? Are you cleaning it thoroughly between uses? T may have a stronger tolerance than you. Hey, OT, is T vegan too? I saw Super Size Me the other day and the guy who was only eating McD's for 30 days was dating a Vegan chef.

i don't think that's it, because we've used the blender for other things in between smoothies (like black bean soup last week)

I have mango allergies that come and go..I wouldn't get it EVERY time I ate mango, so it was hard to pinpoint the allergy. But after one time I got hives more severely, I figured out what was wrong. I had hives behind my ears! So I don't eat it anymore, which is too bad, because I LOVE the mango pudding you get when eating dim sum!
