Ran two miles this morning. I ran for speed instead of distance today. I was able to shave about 5 minutes off my time so that was good (although it was most definitely challenging!). No plans today except to hang out at home, do laundry and cook.

My mom left yesterday. We had a good time but it was sort of a relief. She does not get my way of eating at all and everything I offered her something, she said "Is it real milk?" "Is it real hamburger?" "Is it real chocolate?" It was sort of cute at first but then it got old especially considering I have NEVER tried to sneak her soy milk or soy crumbles at any point. I always tell her exactly what it is. She also doesn't think it's a meal unless there's meat involved and that got a little annoying. We ate out a lot over the past few days and I'm looking forward to getting back into my food groove.

I bought some flaxseed oil yesterday and threw a tsp. in my OJ this morning. I'm not sure how much I need to be taking... any suggestions?

Breakfast: OJ, lemon poppyseed muffin, egg scramble with fake sausage and jack cheese

Will have to update on my food as I'm trying some new recipes.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday! :)

I would call your mom's visit a success. It's so hard to continue your habits when you have to entertain. I think you did great!

B - eggs

lunch - fish, salad, mixed veggies

snack - orange

Dinner - chicken, mixed veggies

I'm sure I'll have another orange sometime during the day.

No workout today.

Good job on your runnings, and on dealing with your mom!

I don't know about the flaxseed oil either. I take a teaspoon of fish oil every day. I'm not sure if it would be the same for flaxseed oil. Does it say on the bottle? I usually double whatever the bottle says.
