Since we posted what we'd like to accomplish, what will you do this week to get your closer to your goals?

I'm going to run at least

I'm going to add a second day of swimming this week. I am also going to have the opportunity to go to tkd one extra day during the week! I don't want to add too much at once because I need to conserve energy for baby growing.

I got extra fruit and extra veggies when I was at the store today. I still can't even look at a majority of vegetable without puking, but I got what I could.

1. I will continue to avoid all grains
2. I will workout at least 4 days this week
3. I will prepare healthy snacks in advance and make them easily accessible

I am going to attempt to do some sort of physical something every day this week- even if it's just arm weights/abs/push-ups one day. I have two papers due, so I'm pressed for time.

I will also fight the urge to munch on things around the house while I'm working. I may relocate for some of it- I have a desktop, so I'll have to do the actual writing here.

my goal for the week is to run 3 miles twice and 5 miles once - if i'm going to do that, i'm going to have to figure out a five mile "course" for myself. swimming over the weekend - maybe

Still struggling in the workout area. I think I need to bite the bullet and get myself back into the gym. Working out at home isn't happening. My MIL doesn't mind watching her an extra hour; I hate leaving her. I'm going to try it on Monday and see how it feels.

Oops- I had responded and got my goals for May connfused with this week! Anyway, I didn't do that poorly, actually. Most days, I did at least something, at the very least did some arms and abs on days when I didn't do anything else. I ran, went for a long walk, and went to yoga. Considering I had papers due this week, that's not too bad.

Well, the week is almost over and I think I did pretty well!

I went to the gym and lifted three times, and got in some decent runs. I didn't get a chance to go to a kickboxing class I wanted to attend, but I managed to squeeze in a run that day to make up for it.

I did very well on the diet front, and I'm very pleased. I ate plenty of fruits and veggies, tried a new recipe that was healthy and tasted divine, and drank my 10 glasses of water every day.

But now ... the weekend lies ahead. My dh likes to bring home a six pack of our favorite beer every Friday, and I'm going to resist. The beer is bad enough, but it makes me want to eat junkie foods like sausage pizza. So no beer for me! I don't want it anyway, because I feel so good this week that I don't want to screw up my momentum. Another challenge that I have to face this weekend is that we like to take the kids out to lunch every Sunday, usually to some place that serves burgers. I've decided to make that my weekend "treat meal," as long as I behave the rest of the weekend. But I'm still going to try to keep it within reason. No burgers and fries for me, but I'll still have something I like without worrying too much about calories.
