Quick-Fix Energy Boosts?

So, finals is seriously taking a toll on me. Everyone I talk to asks me if I'm okay, because I apparently look tired. I have a paper to write for Friday at 2pm, I have to babysit all day Thursday (which takes a HUGE chunk out of paper-writing time- I don't have a laptop and they don't have a desktop- both parents take their computers to work with them), and so I can't just nap. Plus, I'm so overtired that sleep isn't that effective. I had a horrible time last night- kept tossing and turning, and had a weird vivid dream about Wes (the new ex-bf). I was also planning on exercising this week. I ran yesterday and did arm weights. But I think if I keep exercising, I'll sap any energy I might have left, that I need to stay alive and write this paper.

What can I do to give myself energy boosts?!? (Healthy ones of course, which is only what I'd expect from you ladies! I'm not a caffeine addict, luckily) I seriously feel like I'm going to fall over.

Hi! I'm the one that gets up at 3:30AM Mon-Fri. When I feel like I'm going to crash, I take a power nap. 15 minutes can do a girl wonders! If you are so tired that a power nap would do more harm than good, then I would suggest you take a night to sleep. Your paper isn't due until Friday, right? Take tonight off and get a good night's sleep then work extra hard tomorrow. Can you do that? Caffeine is the only other solution that I know. I think when you're THAT tired, there is no HEALTHY way to stay awake besides rest.

i think that light exercise would help give you energy rather than sap your energy.

also, i know it's easier to say than to do, but just not be stressing yourself out so much. that saps your energy more than anything. forget about wes for now. don't stress about your paper, just figure out a plan to get it done and then trust in your plan. you have plenty of time to do the paper - you could start the paper when you are done babysitting thursday and still have it done by friday at 2. i've done it many times. but more importantly, try to keep all of this in perspective. in the big scheme of things, none of this is going to matter much to how fulfilling and happy your life will be.

Power naps work great!
