I'm teaching sports conditioning this AM. I'm using the step, but giving the option to do it on the floor w/ the ball.

I have that magazine--I'll have to look at it again.

I've looked into swim classes but there aren't any at times I can take them.

No time to workout today (I shouldn't even be here but I need a quick sanity break) and my eating habits are beginning to slide due to time constraints (I won't have any more days off until at least June, but Sundays are really only 1 class & the occasional BTS practice). I'm eating grain-based carbs like they're going out of style. Thought maybe doing the food journal would give me the opportunity to see the forest instead of just the trees. With a minimum of 12 classes/week scheduled (15 is the average), plus BTS practices and almost every other spare moment spent training people I reeaally need to be careful what I eat or I'm going suffer some serious overtraining and even malnutrition.

Breakfast: 2 slices multigrain toast w/ PB; green tea

Lunch: multigrain bagel w/ PB; green tea

Supper: hopefully tabouli w/ lots o' veggies; spiced V-8

Snacks: fruit-soy smoothie; granola bar; piece of dark choc., leftover tabouli; herbal tea

Okay, thinking back more objectively now, I don't think the whole class sucked.

That's the main reason I'm having so many starches/grains. No time to cook & I eat on the go. The only reason tabouli is supper is because it's a mix that cooks in less than 10 min. that you add tomato & cukes too - I'm just going to add some already prepared bruschetta and hopefully the cukes & a little onion. Plus I'm getting tired of my quick meal staple of rice noodles and frozen veggies cooked together in broth. I wish I had some of Safeway's instant lentil soup - it's quick and super easy & really tasty w/ bruschetta and some extra curry powder mixed in.

I'm currently working on a giant smoothie so I have some micronutrients & phytochemicals happening - one cannot live on vitamin supplements, bread & tea.
