We're having our countertops put in today so I have the feeling it's going to be a high stress day.

Today I plan to run to the gym after I drop my son off at preschool. It's 3 miles one way. Then I'll workout my lower body and run back home. It's the only way I can manage to get in both my run and my weights when I'm crunched for time.

Here's my food plan ...

breakfast: poached egg, whole wheat english muffin, mango

lunch: turkey sandwich, carrots, grapes (will have to eat in my car, but at least I'm not hitting the drivethru, which is what I normally would do.

snacks: orange, banana ... maybe some cereal

dinner: Greek meatballs, orzo, and spinach/tomato salad w/ light dressing

dessert: light vanilla yogurt, blueberries, and walnuts

Wow, when you teach, do you sit the entire time? That's a lot of time on the rear!

B - eggs, berries

S - Banana, orange

L - Salmon, veggies

S - Orange(s)

D - Chicken, veggies, corn on the cob

Planning on chest, tris, and abs again. Didn't do them yesterday.

Yeah well I stand behind students sometimes but basically I am on my butt the whole time. That's why I have to work out so much to counteract the sedentary effects of my work.

But, boy, you could have some awesome kegel-area muscles, though--you could do kegel exercises the whole time!

Oh, this is a bad, bad day! First it is finals and I am just slammed with crap. Second it has been cold all week, and now it is cold and rainy, just yuckyness everywhere. On top of all of that, I went to get my emmisions test so I could renew my registration, and my car failed! We have no money to get this fixed, and I am just really mad at this car to begin with.

I did legs and swam. Because it is such a crazy day I swam at the Y instead of at school. Big mistake! The natatorium is really small, so it is hard to breathe. Now my lungs and nostrils are burning. Then, they over chlorinate the pool, so I am itchy and I can't feel my tongue. Can the day get any worse?

Food:
eggs, croissant
payday--on top of everything else my bloodsugar dropped, so this was a quick fix
pizza, just cause I deserve it after everything else
mexican, don't know what
