I'm going to a baby shower tomorrow. Nothing else planned.

Breakfast - 2 eggs, berries, banana

Snack - coffee, orange

Lunch - I'm having a meeting where lunch is being provided. Don't know what I'm having.

Snack - Salmon & veggies

Dinner - Chicken, veggies, corn-on-the-cob

I'm going to try and get a full-body workout in since I did so miserably this week.

No, nothing fun on my horizon(except more snow apparently - blah), BUT at least it turns out I have no clients scheduled today so I can go grocery shopping, do laundry & dig everything out for DH to do our taxes. I teach a Step/Sculpt class @ noon; will stop at the other gym to practice Body Combat on the way home; finally, teach HIIT late this afternoon. Two classes and 4 clients tomorrow and one class & BC practice on Sunday.

Breakfast: banana split smoothie (banana, frozen strawberries, choc. soy protein & vanilla soy milk); green tea

No clue about lunch or dinner yet.

Snacks: fresh fruit; tortilla chips w/ salsa; multigrain ciabatta w/ vegan spinach-walnut pesto

Well, my plan was to do a 4 miler today but after my 13 hour day yesterday, I am exhausted. I decided to take the take off completely. Not to mention, I am pretty stiff and sore. I did my functional training workout on myself and with two clients yesterday... I have a feeling we're all walking like old ladies today. It's good stuff. :)

We're having a tile guy come look at our poor bathroom today to give us another estimate. (This guy is a friend of ours who builds custom homes and has promised us a good price.) Then I've got my first appointment with some in-home clients. After that, I'm going into work for a meeting and to train one client. Then I can come home and the weekend can begin. We're also supposed to get our couch today so that's exciting. Trying to relax on part of a sectional is getting a wee bit difficult.

As far as the weekend, we're taking the furkids into the vet tomorrow. We're meeting BIL to go see "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" also. DH loves that book. I read it a long time ago and enjoyed it. I should have probably reread it before seeing the movie, but oh well. I have rescheduled my 4 mile run to Sunday.

Not sure about food. Will have to update later.

Well, I somehow managed to hurt my knee yesterday, and I have absolutely no idea what happened. I was busy so I didn't even do as much exercise as I had planned. I went out for an easy 3 miler, took it slow, and felt absolutely fine before, during, and after the run. When my son got home from preschool, we went for a walk, and when my daughter got home from school, we played in the backyard. My knee was totally 100% fine the entire time. Then last night dh and I watched a little TV, and when I got up my knee hurt. And it just got worse from there. I could barely sleep last night, because every time I moved I felt pain. Now today I'm limping around and struggling to go up and down the stairs. It's really weird. Normally when I hurt myself I know how and when I did it. I have no clue about this knee deal.

So I'll be altering my workout plans for the day. Maybe I'll see how the knee feels, then go to the gym and hit the elliptical trainer for a while.

breakfast: toast, peanut butter, and a mango

lunch: turkey sandwich, carrots, grapes

snacks: orange, banana, cereal

dinner: salmon, wild rice, and salad w/ spinach and tomatoes

dessert: light yogurt, blueberries, walnuts

ooh, camping in the rain with a bunch of little girls who i imagine will scream if they see a bug, what's a better way to spend a weekend than that? more power to you, jean.

i am planning a pretty low key weekend, the past few weekends have been so hectic. today is my day off from exercise this week. i'm getting my hair colored today, not a new color but just to replenish the dark brown that has faded over time. tomorrow i plan to go swimming and do pilates/yoga at home and sunday i'm going running with a friend in the morning then i'll lift weights at home later in the day. sunday i also have my vegan knitting group. i hope to pick up a few things for knitting and get some knitting done before sunday. and that's about it for me. i hope to have some quality time with the tv and the book i'm reading - the Kite Runner.

last night i ran 4 miles outside, the farthest i've run in years. it was fun, except i had to go to the bathroom badly for about the last mile or so. i still made it in about 45 minutes though. i was much better dressed for the weather than i was last sunday!

oh, i forgot to mention that i started my new yoga class on Wed, and there are FOUR jen/jennifers in the class. FOUR! it's a real problem if the teacher tries to give us instruction and we don't know which one of us she's talking to. i hate my name. i need a nickname, will you guys give me one?

food-

southwest tofu/veggie wrap (couldn't finish), smoothie (couldn't finish), breakfast potatos (of course i finished the yummiest and most unhealthy part of my breakfast!), coffee

taco salad (still haven't eaten this, because every night i've been too hungry to start chopping veggies, but now it's made so i'll definitely eat it) with salad greens, carrots, tomato, really delicious orange bell pepper, homemade guacamole, topped with vegan taco "meat" - i forgot the salsa :(

thai soup a la jen (thai kitchen rice noodle soup with added frozen veggies and chili sauce)

chocolate

This morning I did spin and then went shopping for a slip for tonight (more details later) and groceries.

I have a job interview at a PT studio this afternoon at 2:45pm!

and tonight, I sing at the music festival again, I'm wearing a long sheer black dress, hence the need for a slip.

Breakfast: banana, babybel, 1/2 bottle of Propel Water
Lunch: bagel/smoked salmon/cream cheese; giant spinach salad with avocado chunks and multigrain croutons
Dinner: dunno yet
