I just read this in Nutrition Action Newsletter. The American Heart Association recommends at least 2 servings of fatty fish (DHA and EPA omega 3 acids) a week but doesn't say how much ALA to get.

Thanks a bunch Jean! So sweet of you to look that up... I've read other places too that 1 T a day is what is recommended and that's what I've been doing when I remember. The only bummer about it is the calories (essentially 140). It seems like a "waste" of calories, but hopefully it's not.
