I was thinking of getting my kids to help with the cabinets!

that's a cool idea, but it sounds like my worst nightmare, with washing all the whites and colors together and putting clothes in the dryer willy nilly. i'm very particular about my laundry and don't even like anyone else to do it for me.

i think that sounds like a good idea to get the kids to help, they'll probably like that. i like painting - i think it's fun. i painted the cabinets in my bathroom. except ceilings, i don't like painting ceilings.

I do not like painting ceilings either. I always get paint in my hair. We need to repaint the ceiling in our bedroom and I am determined to make DH do it. I painted all of the ceilings that have needed painting since we moved in and I am DONE with ceilings.

Why don't you wear a shower cap to avoid paint in your hair?

or a bandanna or an old hat. i wore a bandanna last time i painted ceilings, but that's not the problem i have with it, it hurts my neck to keep craning my head up to see what i'm doing, and it's awkward using those long handled rollers. also if you have textured ceilings, they are a pain in the butt.

I saw the funniest thing on Trading Spaces one time. Gen was wearing rollerskates to help her paint the ceiling more easily. I thought that if I ever painted a ceiling, I would have to do that. Jean, your an experienced skater, you could do some elaborate painting! :)

We do have the best classes. I still wish you guys could come here to try my performance step class or there was some way to record the class and put it on-line. You just can't understand it until you've seen it. This Saturday they're having a team-teaching class that will last 2 hours and will raise money for a community outreach program. Didn't you say you were doing something like that at your gym? They're going to sell raffle tickets and teach a variety of step classes.

It's a 5 class day, the 2 toughest being the first & last. Start w/ HIIT, next is Mindful Movement, followed by weightlifting, then Fusion, finally kickboxing. Was going to practice BC today, but my ankle says to spare it the added grief. ;-)

Breakfast: ww-jumbleberry muffin; green tea

Meal 2: baked potato & broccoli drizzled w/ vinaigrette; coffee

Meal 3: black beans, fresh salsa & vegan cheese in a ww wrap; soy chai latte

Supper: not a clue, probably instant lentil soup w/ added tomatoes & curry spice; V-8

Snacks: fresh fruit; tortilla chips w/ salsa; dark choc. w/ almonds; soy nuts
