I'll take a wild stab at my food journal today but I'm sure I'll be updating it.

Pre-gym: banana & babybel
Post-gym: bagel sammich & coffee
Lunch: BBQ chicken pizza & greek salad
Dinner: leftover steamed pork w/ginger, brown rice, some veggie
Snacks: apple, Luna bar, hopefully veggies & dip, peanuts, babybel

Oh, I did 45 min step & abs at the gym followed by shoulders/chest/back lifting. Later I am going to buy a pair of sandals that I've had my eye on, then put them on IMMEDIATELY and go see my BF for lunch, then I teach piano in the afternoon/evening.

I followed by journal exactly until after my dd's doctor appt. I was so traumatized by her having to get 4 giant needles that I caved in and had pizza. I wish she could get her vaccinations some other way that wasn't so painful. :(

Breakfast - Wile Alaskan Salmon, peaches, coffee (It's weird having salmon for breakfast)

Snack - Orange

Lunch - Flounder, mixed vegetables, corn-on-the-cob

Snack - Orange, sardines

Dinner - Won't be fish, that's for sure! Chicken, sweet potatoes, mixed vegetables

How many ounces are in a liter? I've been drinking 2 liters a day, but I have no idea how many ounces that is. It feels like a lot.

I have my bag ready for step today. We're just doing our regular step (level X) class, no circle, quad, double, etc. We only mix it up on Mondays.

I hate the vaccinations, too. It's so hard to see them get them.

No, never heard of it. I'll have to look into this magic patch...

There are approximately 32 ounces in a litre.

Thanks! I knew someone would know. I'm not very smart until after 10AM, and even then it's questionable.

I got a couple new ball and band books so DH and I are going to workout together this morning, road-testing some of the exercises. I'm planning a trip to Target for plants and lamps. I got an appointment this afternoon with a client to get her set up for home training starting next week. Btw, I did my first in-home session yesterday with an elderly couple and it went pretty well. Considering what they're paying me, it's pretty cushy. :) Can't complain.

DH and I bought more stuff for the house last night and when we got home and set it all up, I just don't know if I like it. We bought a tall CD tower (that unfortunately will not close when there are CD's in it - it's from World Market so it's not exactly stellar furniture) and a Pagoda style lamp to sit on top of it. I think it's cute. I'm not a decorator by any stretch of the imagination and usually, I immediately like or dislike something. I hate it when I'm sitting on the fence. I'm hoping that when I go downstairs this morning I'll see it again and know if we should keep it. We also bought some wicker boxes to put underneath the sofa table we bought. If we were decorating solely for style, this would be a lot easier. But with the much smaller place, we are trying to maximize storage space as much as possible and it's a challenge to buy pretty pieces that will also store things.

I'll take a stab at my food but will probably have to update it...

Breakast: oatmeal w/butter and brown sugar

Snack: protein shake

Lunch: large salad, tuna, protein pudding

Snack: almonds

Dinner: ??

Yesterdays's food:

Breakfast: peanut butter banana toast, OJ

Snack: zone bar

Lunch: veggie patty, mashed cauliflower, chocolate strawberry shortcake

Snack: luna bar

Dinner: grilled chicken quesadilla, chips and salsa, margarita, chocolate strawberry shortcake (I need to mention a food victory here... we went out for dinner and I REALLY wanted dessert. They had a dulce de leche cheesecake which I love and I wanted it, but knew it probably wasn't a great idea since I'm trying to keep my unhealthy eating limited to one day/one meal a week. So, I compromised by having my "healthy" chocolate strawberry shortcake when I got home. This is a big deal for me since I often have the entitlement attitude at restaurants).

That is so tough to do. You should be proud of yourself demonstrating such control. Good job!

aren't your feet going to be cold? it's not warm enough for sandals here and we are quite a few miles south of you. maybe canadians are much more hardy about toe warmth or lack thereof.
